  1. One of the theory’s about it I’ve seen thinks it’s surface would make it resemble a super comet, as a significantly greater than earth mass object should still have enough heat to have made it visible in most infrared scans, unless it had a deep ice cover, however that’s not to say it’s a super comet, just ice covered to a considerable depth.
  2. Well the thing Is games have Easter eggs. world of Warcraft has references to Startrek Star Wars, halo and the Sims, and RedDead. Fallout 3/4/76 has references to TES. Skyrim has references to fallout, and I suspect there’s references to Starfield in Fallout 4 and 76. it’s just something devs do, because they like games Tv and movies too.
  3. Dude, chill. It’s a teaser for the upcoming game. besides KSP already had crashed UFOs and Monoliths all over the freaking place It’s a water erosion stone arch. On a airless moon. Also it’s ment to be a teaser for KSP 2. Relax.
  4. They have A version of the old Orion Atomic bomb drive, Project Daedalus, and a few other things that look like they came from Atomic Rockets web sight. I seriously doubt we’re getting Hyperdrives or Stargates, unless someone mods it
  5. The funny bit would be if Kerbals evolved from the life support algae tanks.
  6. I’m supised someone haven’t put this in the parts viewer. (I can’t, currently posting from ipad
  7. Quick! Break out the emergency 100Kg anti spoiler Godiva chocolates! What do you mean “someone ate them”???
  8. for a map of the solar system it’s , odd. No Moho.? No Kerbin? Or if number 2 is Duna why yellow? in other words ?..?.,?
  9. For a second I thought you were talking about the Mun er moon arch. Um no I think that’s for the sound track? I don’t think that they announcing unscheduled disassembly? (Delay)
  10. kind of scary? it’s a bomb, stacked on a bigger bomb that has bombs strapped to it. yes kind of scary. And awsome
  11. I think I remember reading that one of the problems with Ram scoops of interstellar gas was that, oddly, there’s too much drag for them to actually work. that and beyond a certain point, your velocity gets high enough that dust and jeneral friction start becoming a problem, with heat from impacts may create a bow shock type phenomenon. It’s posible that now shock from vaporizing particles may help deflect some particles as well?
  12. And someone has learned to use the Necominon to raise dead threads…. Looks like you won this thread YEARS ago
  13. This is nothing new. Starfield had a group of followers who are or were convinced that It’s basically Microsoft Space Flight sim at its core, and you need some kind of flight rig to even try to play it. others are convinced that it’s combing out in 60fps, (despite in every existing gameplay trailer being 30 or less ).and others who are convinced it’s going to have multiplayer….. people tend to build up a lot of expectations for upcoming projects.
  14. The people who did the video was also an outside group, who aparentyly did that because it looked cool, and Nate later said that was a mistake they did not catch, so eh.
  15. 1 we dont know. They did mention a parts count that was quite high compared to KSP 1.1, (333 parts in 1.1) but how mutch of that is interstellar and colony parts we just do not know. 2 devs know and are not saying. 3 usualy not you just pay for it once. But DLC anf expansions are another story. 4 it’s steam as long as you don’t violate the TOS you can install it on almost (exception maybe for that idiotic RUMORS about Xbox PC and PlayStation PC (basically a overbuilt Console version that’s next and is supposedly part console part PC that I doubt anyone is working on.)
  16. Sorry was replying to two different posts. well that and it seems like they have only used one mostly I entitle shot for puff and several on the other planets.
  17. I don’t think it’s stated anywhere. that said how a planet or moon gets tidally locked is it’s close enough to its primary that tidal forces caused by the gravity slows its rotation until only one side faces it. Given that it takes both time and some luck ( Mercury has a 3:2 resonance with the sun because of its orbit, and that’s not likely to change any time before it’s engulfed by the sun) and nothing else in the solar system is tidally locked to the sun, I find it kind of unlikely you will find a tidally locked planet with a habitable zone outside of sci fi. Granted this is KSP so who knows.
  18. Oh I know that. But if someone is willing to do that in multiplayer, then there’s no point about worrying about currency, because they can edit the files to give them more resources than have been used to date on everyone’s Missle rocket and space program.
  19. Fallout 4 Fallout 3 Fallout 76 which is apparently so successful they brought in 2 Studios, each larger The parent sub studio plus a third dedicated QA team because Micro transactions. Seriously if the disaster that is fallout 76 generates enough money that Microsoft doubled the team size since they launched it…..yah now you see why Micro transactions are such a big thing.
  20. A couple of companies have cut down on how many keys are handed out internally recently as well.
