  1. I saw a fighter with several 105mm howitzers on it in another competition. The howitzers were extremely inaccurate, even in a head-on bull rush, and it was clear the swiveling wouldn't help. So although it's not bannable due to power issues, I would say don't use it if you want to succeed. Here's the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8mION3qxpaA
  2. If I put fourteen laser pods and four goalkeepers on a plane I at least want them to be able to shoot down missiles, even if the shoot-down rate has to be nerfed. The problem here is that it isn't able to shoot down missiles at all because of targeting aiming problems, not power problems.
  3. I've noticed issues with targeting for missiles in general. I have a version of my moses with 14 laser pods on it, and although it did use them against missiles, it couldn't shoot them down because it just wasn't pointing the lasers at the missiles.
  4. @FleshJeb I was saying standards are different. Even though my AB-17 Moses has 64 50 cal turrets and two missile turrets, I consider it somewhat underarmed.
  5. @FleshJeb I consider three vulcans the standard light armament for any combat aircraft I build. As a matter of fact, I originally wanted to mount four vulcans on the Dorito, but I didn't like the ammo consumption.
  6. @FleshJeb I've seen it hit its own missiles with zero drop time settings.
  7. This is just a reminder that views are different. I knew going in I would face turrets, I clearly understand how unfair they can be. I was very afraid of being gunned down by turrets, even though my fixed gun plane was getting gun kills vs a turreted version of my plane. But at the same time, I thought that if that happened, then so be it. I was overall okay with a loss due to turrets. The fact that my plane managed to win vs turrets makes me more than proud of it.
  8. Truth be told even I'm scratching my head thinking about how it got through that hole.
  9. @exbyde Do you remember specifics of round 2 of my Dorito vs the Bezerker Drones? Like how many on each side was killed, and how? (Gun, missile?)
  10. @exbyde Wait, did the bezerkers win or lose against the bryntrolls?
  11. @exbyde I can personally confirm my planes have occasional bouts of striking their own missiles.
  12. Holy human excrement, that face could scare the AI into submission.
  13. Might've been slightly wrong about vulcans being on par with turrets...
  14. @exbyde Once again man, thanks for recording it. Yeah, the Jernas unnaturally slow RoF is a big weakness. Adequate against anything that isn't half SR-71 Blackbird.
  15. I did scrape together enough time to test it 1v1 against a regular fighter, and it was actually shot down on numerous occasions. Neither did it shoot down any incoming missiles (It somehow managed to dodge them sometimes). But I don't hold anything if you don't wanna run it due to computer lag. I wouldn't either.
  16. If I'm correct, that rolling issue can be solved by showing the CoM and CoL in the hangar. It's a bug with KSP. That won't solve its aerodynamic instability, though.
  17. @Eidahlil@Eidahlil Thanks for hosting these fights! I just have one question: Can I modify my fighter, even though it's KOTH? I'll admit I didn't give it a proper shakedown test, and I don't like how long it's firing its guns.
  18. Not the best fighter, but here it is anyway. https://kerbalx.com/drtricky/F-42-Invader
  19. Excellent. A B-17 Flying Fortress rains 30mm fire upon an unsuspecting enemy over Berlin, December, 1947. (colorized)
  20. Do they have to be realistic military pictures...?
  21. https://kerbalx.com/Raging_Industries/RIAF---Devilfire-Mk3 (Not mine)
  22. @HeroBrian_333 Just a suggestion, but maybe we should cut off submissions here. This is to prevent the list from getting massive, as happened with the old ASC KOTH competition.
