In the 10 rounds I ran my plane, self-detonation only happened once. I think it really is nothing more than sheer bad luck. But regardless, I've updated my plane so that all the missiles will eject downwards (relative to the aircraft). It's the same thing, but with different missile arrangement. It's technically heavier because it has two more missile racks, but I honestly don't think the slightly increased weight, or the more reliable missiles would've made a difference in the last fight. -

@goduranus I hate to say this, but I heard jammers only work at ranges over 10 km or beyond. Any closer, and they're just dead-weight. -

My old plane had one hard point on each wing, with two missiles each. The inboard missiles on the hard points were too close to the fuselage, which prevented them from being fired. I moved the hard points further away from the fuselage to fix this. Although I did add an additional four missiles to increase its suppression ability, unrelated to the earlier problem. Is that illegal right now? I can quickly change it if that's the case. -

That link is the one that's unable to fire more than two missiles max. This is the fixed version. You don't have to re-do the previous battles. I just want it to be used in all future battles. -

Well, not all of them, and not all the time. In that video, one of my planes never fired any of its missiles at all; the 3 minute mark shows my plane still has four missiles on its hardpoints, and it starts out with four missiles. -

@goduranus Are you gonna be regularly recording these battles? Because you may have noticed my plane, the Dorito, not firing its missiles. I fixed the fixed the issue, and if you're still going, then from here on out, I'd like the fixed version to be used. -

More recent testing of my aircraft has shown it stop within ~20 m, even with its missiles and bombs still attached, so yeah, Saul Goodman. -

In-game shows its width is 9.2 meters, although I'll admit I forgot to test landing distance. Are parachutes allowed? Because even though it has a stall speed of ~30 m/s, I'm still worried it might not make it without parachutes. -

They're attached to the rearmost wing piece, which is located behind the CoM. -

How is the CoL supposed to be relative to the ailerons? Changing the root part to the nose cone didn't work, and setting the authority to negative values didn't change the rolling deflection problem. Changing authority only changed what direction it deflects when changing pitch. has the side effect of changing it's behavior when it changes pitch. It also doesn't solve the problem of the ailerons deflecting very little when rolling. -
When I try to do aileron rolls with this plane, the inner set of ailerons deflect slightly in the opposite direction of the roll, even if roll is set to off. The even stranger thing is that setting both pitch AND roll to off for the ailerons is required to get them to stop moving. Does anyone know why they're deflecting that way?
