Forgot to mention this- If a dog bites you, you'll lose a chunk of flesh, go to the hospital, and possibly die of rabies. If a cat bites you, it's just a gentle nibble and he calms down a few minutes later

I've gotta say cats. They're nice and warm and unobtrusive. Dogs are a lot of fun, but can get exhausting. Cats do their own thing, but still curl up to you when they want. Also, I disagree with people saying you can't do anything with cats, it's not hard to play with them. My kitten loves hair ties, and I can sorta play fetch with him using them
