Yup of course we are. And it probably will, but I'm just a bit worried for the Unity 5 switch. Could make the game slower *derp*
-
Ooh just finished Order Zero. Hey how long did it take you to construct that courtroom? Looked great anyways ;p The time spent reading the stories was so worth it (I'm a bit slow I know, about 5 hours for Duna's and Eve's). Let's spend even more on Jool's!

Mostly. But some games actually become faster with updates. Hope KSP is that cool ;p
-
How the hell do you fly spaceplanes? How do you even build them? Seriously I never tried it lol
-
Thank you both yeah Kuzzter I read the entire Duna story in a couple hours, lovely ending! I did follow the order so I have a few Eve chapters left, gonna read them soon. I'm in love with these stories, you are truly amazing! Keep on making them, I literally can't wait! Hey in the future consider adding Munnie Kerman, he's my favorite ;p he's not a badS, yet he acts like one xD As for the bilingual bonus, fair enough! I can still fit in some chords anyways ;p my signature, damn I laughed at loud at the positive thing xD there are countless funny/great moments but you know, signature cap ;p Get the Jool Odyssey done! Consider me a big fan of yours haha Thank you ;p

That was so fun to read. Sorry if I missed it but is it continued? And if so where can I read the rest? On a side note I wish I could read these musical notes. I mean I learned guitar the hard, unofficial way ;p

Welcome aboard! Well you don't really need much of a powerful PC. I mean my laptop has an Intel HD card (1 GB) which is worse than a 256 MB ATI or Nvidia, and the game runs fine for me. Well not how you would want it to but it's playable nevertheless, even with mods (not the visual ones). So did you give it a try at least before assuming that your PC won't run it?

Thanks everyone! I sure will be myself Well as for my writing, I spent my entire life chatting with English-speaking people so I really got used to it ;p

What's your favorite spacecraft/launch vehicle?
Martian Music replied to Sanic's topic in Science & Spaceflight
For rockets, definitely Saturn V. I mean there are so many great rockets but the fact that all the Apollo missions' launches were successful (almost flawlessly successful) makes it so amazing. And it's launch, god damn! Delta-IV and Atlas-V are also sick, though my rocket knowledge is pretty small. For the future, I'm sure the SLS will be amazing. As for missions, all the Apollo's of course, ISS, Hubble, Venera's that landed, every Mars lander/rover was amazing, and my favorite is Cassini (and Huygens of course). There are countless amazing missions. Fiction? Everything used in Interstellar (the Endurance, damn <3) -
Hey uh.. guys, astronauts, astrophysicists, Kerbals? Anyways! I should introduce myself before going deeper in the forums. My real name is Naji (Arabian but not proud to be one), from Jordan (not proud neither, leaving soon). I'm 17 years old, and I'm a space addict. I tend to say hello to the planets everyday (you know, wave at them in the sky) but it's winter now so :/ I love this game and it's developers, love the forums and it's people and just love everything about KSP. I'm a daily player but even still I'm pretty bad at the game. I played Career mode for a long while until the missions wanted bases on Duna and Eve while I still didn't even get to Eeloo or Moho or some of Jool's moons. I love exploring more than setting up bases and the complicated stuff, so I stopped playing Career and started my own space program (BSA - Beyond Space Agency) currently in Sandbox mode. Doing NASA-style flybys and landers (cuz, duh, who doesn't like NASA). Anyways, that's about it! I'm a guitarist as well (acoustic) and a League of Legends player (I doubt anyone here plays it). My hobby? Flying with Jeb! (don't be sad Val) Take care everyone! Martian Music.

[Released] Free IVA Alpha v0.2.1 [1.12.x] (2022-11-24)
Martian Music replied to pizzaoverhead's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
What the guys above explained (thank you), I'm not sure if that can be done, probably not since IVA views are different than going on EVAs but I thought I'd suggest it anyways. If it does work, RCS packs can be made invisible (since you can't really move without them in 0G). -
Damn everyone is so advanced at the game o.o Well I visited almost every planet (and Sarnus and it's moons) but I still don't know how to dock XD My first successful docking was today in orbit around Kerbin :PP and I'm working on my first station ever (I can post pics when it's done but you'll probably puke), anyways I'm going for my 2nd full IVA mission today (using the great IVA mods of course).

[Released] Free IVA Alpha v0.2.1 [1.12.x] (2022-11-24)
Martian Music replied to pizzaoverhead's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
God I would sooo love to see this finished. It's something that should have been done long ago. A small suggestion and forgive me if someone already suggested it, can't you make the whole thing inside IVAs exactly like going on EVA but rather in first person view? Wouldn't that be easier for gravity purposes and in general a bit smoother and more realistic? But nevertheless I'm dying to see this in a final version, I'm in love with first person views especially for a game like KSP (yeah that's probably because deep inside I wanna be an astronaut :P) anyways keep on going man. Great work! -
Mun/Kerbin Phases? (visual)
Martian Music replied to Martian Music's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Thanks everyone, and thanks for the info about earthrise Well since they are here then I just want a way to make them darker. If you look at the picture again, when a side doesn't get sunlight it's almost completely black (looks cooler imo). And I know about the graphical mods but I have an Intel HD card so gg.. can barely run the game itself. -
Mun/Kerbin Phases? (visual)
Martian Music replied to Martian Music's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
By phases I meant when the Moon appears a crescent, waxing, etc, so does the Earth from the Moon. Yeah apparently the phases do occur from Mun's surface but do they appear on the Mun from Kerbin? One other thing I wanted to talk about is how eclipses don't work. I mean I was orbiting Laythe when Jool entirely blocked the Sun's light but Laythe was still lightened. -
Looks quite awesome, nicely done!

Mun/Kerbin Phases? (visual)
Martian Music replied to Martian Music's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Thanks all. Mr Shifty no I actually meant like that Earthrise picture I posted, not the Earthrise thing itself Yeah thanks guys I did see them as well but why are they never visible from the ground? Stand on the Mun or Kerbin and keep looking up, the phases will never occur :/ -
Mun/Kerbin Phases? (visual)
Martian Music replied to Martian Music's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
It is the original Apollo 11 picture, at least what the site said. There are lots of Earthrise pictures anyways. And aren't phases caused by the actual location of the Sun and what it's lighting? I mean if the Moon was in this position (excuse my paint skills lol) http://oi64.tinypic.com/2u7skzr.jpg Wouldn't the right side of Earth appear dark from the Moon's surface?? Edit: k I'm dumb. You were talking about Earth actually rising lol, my bad. -
It's been a long while since somebody mentioned that up (2013 I guess). I think it's about time visual phases get added. I mean it's not that necessary but I'm dying to see that. By phases I mean something like Earthrise: http://www.space-images.com/wallpapers/apollo/11-earthrise/apollo11_earthrise_1920x1200.jpg And Mun phases from the ground. It would be really cool and it could apply to many other celestials (like Ike, or Jool from the surface of Laythe, etc.) and seeing something like the picture above after landing on the Mun would be sick! What do you guys think? I know there are more priorities right now but at least please take this into consideration in the future. Mods probably can't get that done because of what I understood it depends on the game's engine graphics (Unity 4).. Thanks in advance.
