  1. I'm sorry. i really do like the story. It is quite unique. i'm very happy that the story sped up so much in the last chapter. I would like pictures, but I understand that it would be hard. I'm excited for Civil War! Hey, wait, Jeb just got an Iron man suit. does this mean what I think it means? if so, i have one thing to say: uh-oh.
  2. It was good. There were a few capitalization errors. It really helps the whole idea of the coming war pull together.
  3. This is worrying. The KSS Intrepid is out of "missiles". Not that they would have been used anyway. by the way, what does KSS stand for? Kerbal Space Ship? But the Enterprise is designated KSS. The Kerbfleet is part of the Kerbin Federation, right?
  4. Ah, good old Philip Bono. That is a pretty interesting plan. Sort of impractical, probably not worth the money, but possibly useful and cool. A good way to get military money into space exploration.
  5. If we can, let's try and make a Utopian -Far-Out scenario.Tomorrland here we kome!
  6. Here's what I have to say: Ok, this is nice. Wait what? (reads last sentence again.) DUN DUN DUNNNNN!! How do they manage to walk around on Uranus? isn't the gravity higher? Or is Uranus not very dense? Also, do the computers have a neural networked "Strong AI?"
  7. We need to keep pushing onwards. Do what we can to make humanity better and more powerful. Space Exploration is a big part of that.
  8. I know. Good book. He has a version that uses dragon.
  9. that is interesting. It probably won't happen, considering that we have poured so much money into sls and orion. That would be rally cool, but it will take them a long time to get to the moon. that would be great, but it doesn't seem to be what nasa is doing. I have some questions. How much money would ditching orion and sles for a commercial atlternative save? how often will the sls fly? I find it strange that we are finally getting a rocket that will enable us to do things that we have always wanted to, and we cant find a use for it. We aren't making serious plans to go to Mars and build bases on the moon. But we will soon have the rocket that we need. Here's what I say. We use SLS as a heavy lifter to launch moon base components, and/or go to mars. what I really think we should do is establish a versatile, expandable gateway station, with the ability to test artificial gravity, and serve as a way station and propellant depot for moon base construction. We send people out in spacecraft from it to rendezvous with asteroids, study them, and (Maybe) avert them or bring them to the gateway station. The station would also make it easier to launch missions to mars. Hypothetically, fuel could be made at a moon base, or from asteroids, brought up to the station, and used to fuel deep space and mars missions. Maybe even probes to the outer planets. Or in the farther future human missions to Venus and the outer planets. We need an ACES like spacecraft. Similarly, ULA had a plan to send crews to gateway stations and the moon without using a giant heavy lift rocket. Instead, it would use propellant depots. Or, we could do that using dragon capsules on Falcon heavy rockets. That is how I see it!
  10. Good point, i am saying that we could still get along without developing technology on the moon. But it would be helpful.
  11. I have to say that this is really not science but its sort of related. I cant stand those scenes where there are sliding doors on a spacecraft (Star Wars) and they slid open, but there is no room for them to slide into. Also, similarly, Iron Man has missile launchers that pop up out of his arms. However, they have a large enough diameter that they would take up all of the space taken up by Tony Stark's arm.
  12. Unfortunately, it has to thin of a heat shield. I think that Mars is a more worthwhile destination than the moon. And, we are about to have the SLS, which can get us there. The Moon really won't teach us about colonizing Mars. But, its a destination in its own right, and more achievable than Mars. But Mars is still achievable. Dragon is nice because it could (theoretically, with a lot of adjustments) work a a Mars lander. Or a Moon lander. It gives us new capabilities.
  13. @Kuzzter, are you intending to make the next post coincide with the birthday of "A Jool Odyssey?"
  14. 1. This one:(i am surprised that it was unintended) "It would be bad… Try to imagine all life as you know it stopping instantaneously and every molecule in your body exploding at the speed of light." 2. Ah. I get it now. 3. YYYYAAAAAYYYY!!!!!!!
  15. Did anyone catch the Ghost busters reference? Also, how do the people at the Kongress know what SSTO means? and now TO WAR! (again.) Mobilize the military! activate the reserves! Increase enlistment efforts! Put all aircraft into mass production! Work the factories and shipyards to the max! Build hyper sonic interceptors! Orbital weapons platforms! Mun and Minmus bases! Spacecraft carriers! Space Battleships! Eve assault landers! Eve bombers! Eve fighters! A space station to build the Eve invasion fleet!
