8 (-) @JoseEduardo @Atlas2342 Error! Ignore this post! I am not doing well today...
-
[sigh] whatever. This is why I I'm going to step my participation back, because of these petty rule discussions. Okay, but at least follow the proper reverting procedure. And maybe, if that is an unspoken rule, add it to the OP.
-
I said that my inaccurate post was invalid! Then I posted the correct number! The rule is to prevent me from counting down one and then again, subtracting 2. I did not do that! False alarm. Read the rules more carefully. So how am I wrong for correcting myself? @Dman979
-
Woah woah woah. Wait a sec.
-
Ahem. Error! @Andem, last valid is 1.
-
0 (-) yay
-
2 (-) Let's fix this. Back to 0 we go!
-
3 (-) Oops my bad. Last valid was 5 So make that 4 (-) @JoseEduardo, @Atlas2342.

Actually it is very cost efficient since you burn no fuel in space, which is why it's banned. Not to mention that you don't burn fuel above 40,000 meters or so.

1/10 I think I've seen you once before...

Use RCS and Main engines at the same time?
Mycroft replied to juvilado's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
I only use RCS in place of the main engines in docking or if it's a dire emergency. Otherwise, it's just not efficient and strong enough. I do not see it as a good idea, especially since RCS is so important for docking, so I would recommend saving it for a last resort, if nothing else will save your crew. -
KerbalX.com - Craft & Mission Sharing
Mycroft replied to katateochi's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
They don't always work and they take forever. Pictures are the intricate dance part. I'm fairly certain it's my internet filtration software, which is really dumb (the software). It's not anyone else's problem, I was merely saying that that is probably the reason I have not seen https as an improvement. -
KerbalX.com - Craft & Mission Sharing
Mycroft replied to katateochi's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Oh. Sorry. Https wreaks havoc with my machine, and has made uploading craft to KerbalX an intricate dance and a major hassle. So I never really viewed it as an improvement, but yes security is nice. [cough] unnamed foreign country that has hacked US servers repeatedly [cough]. But yeah, @katateochi, that porting is a sticky issue.... -
KerbalX.com - Craft & Mission Sharing
Mycroft replied to katateochi's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Did stackoverflow.com help? I hope so. Funny, I'm only just now realizing how busy I'm going to be in the next couple weeks. But I want to help as much as I can. Also is there perhaps a way to make KerbalX an http site? Cause that might help. Or am I just being ignorant? -

Now I'm worried... Kidding! Thanks though I think it's over. (I hope) -

Wait, was I rude? I didn't think I was. If I was, I am sorry. I was attempting to call out a problem. I don't want to cause any... -
KerbalX.com - Craft & Mission Sharing
Mycroft replied to katateochi's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Ummm legal? You made that mod agreeing that whoever wanted to could download it. It's not as if @katateochi and KerbalX are taking your credit, if anything they're giving you more. You're the one taking your own credit. I don't want to get a mod where the developers act like this! There really are no disadvantages to getting it listed, unless you don't want your mod used, in which case why on earth Kerbin why'd you make it? Oh and here's the beauty of it: If you delete your mod, guess what?! IT GETS DE-LISTED!! Boom! Easy as pie! Really, the attitude I've seen on the forums lately! -
[1.3.0] OPT Space Plane v2.0.1 - updated 29/07/2017
Mycroft replied to K.Yeon's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Oh god! I would love that, but at the same time, I could never use that for a serious play through. I'll see about a thrust profile... Maybe just a tad more thrust than the Mk2 size engine so maybe it has a slightly higher TWR? You know what I mean? What's the difference in the vacuum TWR for that engine and the rapier? Maybe make that difference similar ish for atmospheric performance? I'll have to look that up in the morning... Gah! Quit merging my posts! -
[1.3.0] OPT Space Plane v2.0.1 - updated 29/07/2017
Mycroft replied to K.Yeon's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Ummm @stali79 something I've had on my mind... The new engine... I seriously LOVE it, but if I'm honest, it seems awfully OP. I mean I put two of them on my basic fighter platform, which is rather small, and it's on KerbalX if you've a mind to look, but it literally accelerated at 8, count them, 8 gees climbing straight up! Also, I actually landed it on the Mun with those engines and it had enough Delta-V to get back. I mean 4,000+ kN of thrust seems huge for an engine of this size. I never thought I'd ask for a nerf, but to be honest, I think it needs it... What do you think? -
[1.3.0] OPT Space Plane v2.0.1 - updated 29/07/2017
Mycroft replied to K.Yeon's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
First... Umm @stali79 is one of the dev's! And he didn't like your post. Second, you might wanna cool off. I don't want to have to report you again. You can redesign your ships! Do you think the rest of us are exactly extatic that the ships we worked hard on are incompatible? But each and every one of us downloaded this mod knowing full well that the next update would break our ships. @stali79 went to great lengths to make sure that people knew the next update would break their ships for MONTHS ahead of time. I was told that before I even downloaded this mod for the first time when 1.1.2 was in its infancy. Your reaction and behavior are severely out of line. Please calm yourself before posting here again, for our sake and yours. I seriously don't wanna report you again, but I will if I have to. I think Stali's behavior was exemplary for this update. He was great for making the mod as nice as possible and making the community happy. He was also humble about his knowledge of modding, though he did a great job. -
[1.3.0] OPT Space Plane v2.0.1 - updated 29/07/2017
Mycroft replied to K.Yeon's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Well I was wondering why everyone was jumping on siliconworm, until I read the post.... Ummm yeah.... Now I'm thinking nobody went far enough. I'd gladly flame him (that's what I'm good at) but I'd end up breaking about every forum rule. Needless to say, this post is in direct violation of at least four rules: 2.2 section D, 2.2 section H, 2.3 section B, and last but not least, 2.3 section F. Reported. -
Crash Course [Submit Crafts For Testing]
Mycroft replied to ZooNamedGames's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
If anyone has a powerful computer that can run this ship, I would love to see how it performs in battle, and if possible get some cool screenshots from said battle. I will seriously consider your feedback, and will probably implement it. If your feedback is implemented, I will be sure to credit you for your help. The craft is my Leviathan, currently the most massive craft on KerbalX, and the second most expensive. The link is here, along with detailed stats in the description: https://kerbalx.com/Mycroft_33/Leviathan Thank you in advance! Note: If anyone has feedback on any of my vessels, please do share it. Here is a picture of it:
