Unless there was a typo in your response, it's still a little weird since I'd say 1.2.0 (that I already had) would be newer than 1.1.3.1... But yay, now I have the height offset, time to check whether it helps for my problem
-
I'm using 1.2.0 of Bon Voyage, the most recent one that CKAN is offering me (and I hate mixing a CKAN install with manually installed mods... those tend to get the most messed-up installations)
-
Hm, I'm not seeing anything about height in the settings... The rover's control panel only has the target coords, "Use batteries/fuel cells" toggles and such, and the main panel (opened from the toolbar) has a "S(ettings)" button that opens a little panel with "Automatic dewarp", "Disable rotation", "Show biome", window styles and which toolbar it should use...
-
It doesn't fall as far as I can tell, it's more like it's loaded with some parts in the terrain. The very moment it's loaded, there's explosions and it's already broken.
-
Is there any known fix for rovers just breaking apart upon loading? Even with cheat settings (unbreakable joints & no crash damage), there is a high chance of just losing major parts of my rovers (higher chance on higher gravity bodies as far as I can tell)...

Contract Pack - Research Advancement Division - v1.2.2
Phelan replied to Morphisor's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I just went through some 40-50 of the atmospheric investigation contracts, no illegal combinations showing up, nope. If I can help any further to narrow it down, let me know (I do have some programming and debugging experience, so I know how frustrating it can be sometimes... and how even finding some of the bugs can be both relieving as well as frustrating again... So thank you ) -

Yep, exactly. -

Dammit, no idea what's going on, but I can't insert the screenshots directly here, and even trying to post various valid links doesn't work. Truncated ones that don't get recognized as links work, I hope that's okay... Contract Pack - Research Advancement Division - v1.2.2
Phelan replied to Morphisor's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I simply got one of the local observation contracts that asked me to take a set of experiments in the upper atmosphere above Kerbin highlands, including temperature scans and crew reports. But since they're not biome-dependent, the contract doesn't recognize them as having been done The only other scienc-y mods I have are [X] Science! Continued, Crowd Sourced Science, and ForScience!. And yes, I did do the experiments manually, not with [X] Science, just to make sure that automation didn't mess it up. -

There is another biome-dependency problem with the local observation flight contracts, namely temperature scans and crew reports in the upper atmosphere being biome-independent Other than that, I'm thoroughly enjoying these contracts, especially the "leftover data" ones, so thank you a lot for your work! -
I'd absolutely love an update of this as well, this is one of my must-have mods for any planned 'long-term' game :)

Is there a way to move the little PR window or toggle it via a toolbar button or so? As it is, it's sitting smack dab in the middle of the Kerbal Engineer info panel (that I really don't want to move)

Heh, it's working nicely, though I did need to switch "Unmanned Before Manned", which seems to have a messed up tech tree in 1.6.1 (got the Mk1 pod at the start and no probe core), for "Unkerballed Start". Well, exploring a different tech tree can be fun

I ran into an issue with the golf club - I simply can't equip it. The log says "evaTransform not found". Other equippable items such as the wrench work just fine. It's KSP 1.4.2 (older version since I want to use a mod that's only available up to that version so far), all mods installed via CKAN, so no idea whether it might be a version mismatch problem. It's obviosly not a game breaking or even major issue, but it also obviously would be nice to have it working

As the title says, has there been any movement about changing the current EULA which is actually violating European law? And yes, this isn't just a wild guess, Gamestar has asked a lawyer about it; if you can read German, here's the article - https://www.gamestar.de/artikel/kerbal-space-program-spyware-vorwuerfe-neue-softwarelizenz-bringt-spieler-auf-die-palme,3329796.html

Cubic strut isn't a part? You keep bringing up solutions that just demonstrate that you are indeed just sticking to the letter of the law while ignoring the spirit of the law. One major reason behind the "no service bay" is to keep the part count down. Yet all your solutions add at least one part (fairing, cubic strut or other ways to have open nodes). And yes, putting the core just between two 2.5m parts will work. But exactly, it'll be weak and ugly. Not what'd call a reasonable reaction to me asking for cheap, lightweight probes with a 2.5m diameter.
-
I don't know how the first and last one even remotely address what I asked for, and the second one may not have a service bay, but that fairing is basically the exact same thing. Oh, and if the fairing part should get decoupled (I can't fully make out whether that's a decoupler), then where's the engine? It's supposed to be a tug afterall.
