You need modular flight integrator. its frustrating seeing that no one installs it despite the fact it is in the download folder with Kopernicus. also kittopia is buggy right now because it isn't up to date yet. It still works, but you will need to fight with it EDIT: just saw Thomas beat me to it XD

On demand loading is a feature in Kopernicus which doesn't load your planets textures into the ram until needed. It is activated by specifying image type and having it in a folder named PluginData. Ex:( blah/hi/PluginData/derpface50.jpg). It's not hard to do and it's really great for those who discovered galactic neighborhood or just use a lot of packs. -

meanAnomolyAtEpoch. it is under orbits node and behaves identically to the one in hyper edit. there is an addon called kittopia. there is a link in the OP. its a little buggy right now but it works . install it like any other mod and control - p to open the window. be warned you will need to manually add the changes to a config or use the save thing on kittopia. -

Happens on Mac too, same symptoms. I can't do anything about gpu or graphics card though so I'll have to live with it. Btw I think you forgot to change the color of the groundscatter on the mun when you muted it. I'll get screenies when I gain access to a computer but they look as brown as the mun did -

I've caught ~50 pokemon (nothing interesting except the infinite eevees) and i have an idea where mew and suicune will spawn ( Guyana, south america and great lakes respectively) but i don't have access to pokestops or gyms so i won't be able to play for much longer

I think he's working on it . Considering how hard it is to even make a bad planet, I can't even imagine how hard it is to make something that changes planets at all! Let alone doing it while the game is running! Thanks for this @Thomas P. and good luck

A heightmap is an optional thing for a planet. You use a black and white image where white is the highest point and black is the lowest. However you can't make a planet with just a heightmap because you get lines everywhere. It is meant to be minimal detail and a base to put the PQS mods on. If you look in some planet packs you can see examples of this. Also I don't want to drag this thread off topic so you should ask about things on the Kopernicus thread EDIT: just found out removeAllPQSMods it goes in properties if you are using a template . You can also remove specific ones. You can see this in the OPM planets, just don't add flightsglobalsindex if you are looking at OPM planets for an example. The only reason it still has that is because it is an old pack and removing it makes orbits go crazy

PQS means procedural quad sphere and I barely know how to use them too XD. some simple ones are vertexheightnoise, which just adds noise to the heightmap, and height color map, which colors the terrain based off the altitude. Mess around with some others in kittopia to figure out how they work . Put removeAllPQSMods = true in either the template or properties node(I forgot which) to get a blank planet to play with.

this looks interesting, is there a planet i could make? I'm not the best with Kopernicus but i can try or someone could refine it. just tell me what you want because i have never had an original idea in my life . EDIT: the no original ideas thing does not mean space engine planets. i don't have access to space engine (because mac)

how would you get the lit up side of a planet to face a different star? i have a bright star orbiting a dark star with the planets and i would like to have the light side of the planets face the bright star. -

how would i make particles move away from an object at a given latitude so they move with the planets spin? EX: have particles moving away from kerbin centered at at latitude 0 longitude 45 -
Would it break the all rights reserved license if someone made a solar system specifically for galactic neighborhood?
