  1. I voted for yes. if someone need it, it helps a lot if someone dont need it, it dosnt hurt to have one. its a baad feeling to kill, or lose a kerbal because not enough fuel to reach the destination /go back....

  4. there was an extincion event earlyer too... Vulkans had feedet the ozeans, - too much. And then the ozean become a dead zone... The "dead zone" in the ozean had made a lot of toxic gases, that reached land, and then .... (H2S)

  6. official 0 dead Kerbals, and 0 strandet... - i play with drones , unmanned. - Kerbals only get to a prepared place... if i played without quicksave, and reverting flight, i dont know...

  8. oh, thank you Because there are "steps" , not a formula... I ask that, because i have no information if i have enough air for the engines, are they trottle down because they lack of air, or because "hardcoded"...

  11. hm.. it looks like that is a "step by step" calculation, not a "formula calculation"... "ignition thereshold" - a rapier engine has (from the wiki) a stationary trust of 105kN... - so it should flame out at ~30kn -> but the engine dosnt flame-out even if it will reach the ~5KN trust... so , betwen the 0.08 and the 0.018 atm the trust from the atmospheric pressure dosnt decrease...
  12. there are local "springs" of high% CO2... this should decrease the absolute mass of liquified air...
  13. there are many of Natural-CO2 exhausts, that are put their CO2 into the air... and, they are nearby of cheap energy (like Island...) -
  14. there are some recources of natural-CO2 too... Vulcanism is a natural source of CO2... The increase of the % of CO2 in the air, decrease the amount of Liquifid air...

  16. You dont need to liquifi the air, to get the CO2 you can use Ca to bind the CO2 -> CaCO2

  18. The rapier engine, looks like, has a speed bonus, like the rapier engine, but neither on the ingame nor the wiki are the speed bonus explained... so did anyone have a information about the high of the speed bonus?
  19. my first Mun-drone go interpanetary ... on acident i want to orbit the mun, and i miss that ... (to late ... its complicated without maneuver nodes) so i do a swing-by manever on the moon, and then on Kerbin... so my drone got interplanetary...
  20. a rocket use the fuel in the "line", not like a air breathing engine maybe i would make a mod, with my sugestion, (if its simple, and someone cann tell me the basics)
  21. You can use the syntetic petroleum to carry energy.... or store energy in a small room, like for rockets... (they produce MW of energy "enough for small countries" arnt a lie") If you have on big fusion reaktor, or a big solar-farm (or solar-generators), you can store and transport energy in this way...

  23. i had an contract to build a space station, with an docking port, an antenna etc... ok, it works now its abandoned.... why arnt there contracts that are based on another like: Build thist station then: make this station bigger, add a fuel tank add engines make an tripp to ... the mun etc...
  24. My first landing on minmus... i had tried to "land on the dark side" without light... the drone had an impackt of 120m/s ... a little to much for the landing gear... ( i like drones... i kann destroy them without bad feelings...)
