  1. Okay this is a new one on me, especially if it's logging you out of your session and leaving you at the login screen, that certainly shouldn't be happening. Is there anything in the terminal when you run KSP that might suggest what's going on?
  2. Hmm, well, you have stack decouplers and modular girder segments, if I were you I'd do this But really it shouldn't be falling over.
  3. Hi Prof_Strangelove, your log has a lot of shader errors in it, so this is likely graphics related, also it reports the wrong ELF class for the game overlay renderer. This suggests you need the 32bit Mesa driver installed as well, you can do this with "sudo apt-get install libgl1-mesa-glx:i386", as the KSP.x86 (which Steam starts) requires it. After that try disabling Bumblebee, antialiasing and PPFX edge highlighting. You can also try the KSP.x86_64 as it does not require the 32bit Mesa driver.
  4. Can you please take some screenshots of the craft you use and pot them on imgur, it'd help a lot to see it. You could also put the craft files on dropbox.
  5. Lots of addons straddle categories so that might make it difficult but please make suggestions
  6. No, this is where you are so wrong it's not even funny. How to give good feedback. How to give bad feedback. Go have a read, you will not find any advice telling you to be angry, quite the opposite in fact, getting angry just makes others far less likely to listen to you or take your words on-board.
  7. Have you looked at the support forum yet? I think you should, everyone should. Why? Because it's the quietest I have ever seen it, sure there's old bugs but few are major, there's new bugs but again they aren't insurmountable, what we're mostly seeing are issues with installs, drivers, missing DirectX components, conflicts with other software... KSP is in pretty good shape. But what we are seeing is complaints over the aero and thermal defaults, not bugs in these areas, they are working fine, but the defaults are not how some players would like. Most players like things like they are currently, and are adapting to the new systems and default values in the game, we're seeing players figure out how to orbit again, how to SSTO spaceplane again, and they are enjoying themselves. It's a game, it's not a 100% accurate simulator and it isn't supposed to be, so rather than get worked up over it, play KSP, have fun, yes things are different, but it's far from broken Also, far too many of these threads now, closing!
  8. Squad does not give Steam keys except to early adopters and even they lose their store copy if they migrate, that is why.
  9. Squad does not offer Steam keys or migration to Steam for purchases that occurred after Marth 20th 2013, sorry. Link
  10. If you have KSP on Steam then Jaeleth's advice will not help you, the store and Steam are not the same. [Click here] to see how to restart Windows. You may see a message saying that programs are still open, click the button in the message to end those programs, this is okay. If you have difficulty I suggest you ask your parents.
  11. If addons were removed prior to updating to 1.0 (which jabbashouse suggests with "This is a Stock build unmodded") it's possible that the effects and sounds were deleted, just leaving the engine, one way to save space when assets share resources is to have only one of that file and point any asset that uses that resource to it. If B9 had a sounds and an effects folder and these were removed, but not the engine, that would explain this issue and a re-install would fix it.
  12. Hi ishootdeadppl, aerodynamics has been updated and is different to .90, you will need stabilising parts such as fins to start, and you will need to be careful with your turn until you get some gimballing engines. As rockets burn fuel their tops get lighter so will tip over and want to fly backwards, use staging so there is a full fuel tank and engine at the top to help with stability. Start your turn much sooner and tilt over gradually, large movements are more likely to cause the craft to lose balance.
  13. Valentina does have an orange flight suit in the IVA view on a new 1.0.2 save, you may have a corrupt file, please try verifying your Steam cache for KSP if using Steam, re-extracting from your KSP.zip file or re-installing with the KSP installer file from the store or GOG.com
  14. Hi jabbashouse, I'm not familiar with this L2 Atlas Low-Profile engine in the stock game, can you please provide pics (use imgur.com) and your game logs (see the support stickies) Ninja'd Moving to modded, jabbashouse I suggest you reinstall B9.
  15. Hi TYRT, please see the support stickies and provide your game logs, settings.cfg and dxdiag
  16. This has been true for a while now, targeting the docking port only changes the waypoint marker on the navball.
  17. Hi ExplorerOfSpace, are you using winRAR? It's not the best choice for the KSP zip. I'd try 7zip, it's free
  18. We need logs, please see the support stickies, your player.log, KSP.log and settings.cfg might help solve this.
  19. Hi randomblaofdoom, please see the support stickies and provide your game logs, settings and dxdiag
  20. I think you should take a look at the stickied threads, there's one on a memory issue that may also be causing you problems.
  21. Well this is strange, KSP isn't running long enough to write any errors to the file, I'm not sure what could be causing this. Try disabling anything else you have running that you don't need for KSP, including your antivirus, something is causing it to break. Also, try reinstalling DirectX.
