  1. Just disabling unused adapters should have been enough, I'd check the device manager for any others.
  2. Did you try clearing the input lock in the debug menu? Also, next time this happens please have the Alt+F2 debug screen and the resource tab open and get a screenshot. Edit: I loaded your persistent.sfs, you have no electric charge in the vessel, you needed solar panels on it
  3. This is a detail of the VAB, sorry, it's fixed and can't be turned off.
  4. I vote solid atmosphere, when I need to make a cup of tea or visit the bathroom I should be able to set the throttle to zero and the plane should stop where it is until I'm ready for it.
  5. Not in my experience no, mods aren't the game under review.
  6. Agreed, numbers don't really tell you much, and graphics aren't anything like as important anymore, so many indie games are far from graphical powerhouses and they don't need to be
  7. Ah I think I know what this is, your vessel filter for the vessel you are using is off, go to the map and mouse over the top edge of the screen.
  8. Hi guys, we found what was causing this on Linux, it may help you as well. This was affecting players using a non-English operating system language, it can be worked around by using English or forcing the game to use either English or Posix. On Linux this is done by starting KSP with "LC_ALL=C ./KSP.x86", OS X may also have the LC command as it's from Unix, so it's worth trying. http://blog.remibergsma.com/2012/07/10/setting-locales-correctly-on-mac-osx-terminal-application/ Your current settings.cfg will need to be deleted and you'll either need to use the above each time, make a script or add "LC_ALL=C %command%" to your Steam properties for KSP.
  9. Hi fsadr, please download the latest DirectX from Microsoft and install it, this issue has been traced to a bad DirectX install http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/118975-1-0-2-no-sound-on-Win-7-x64-Not-Steam
  10. "Streamlining the OS" I guess, but anyway I'm glad it's fixed, your finding will help others with the same issue
  11. Hi cathairez, it sounds like the textures failed to download, if you delete the gamedata folder and verify with Steam again, it'll download them anew. If that fails to fix this we'll need to see the KSP.log from the main folder and possibly the output_log from the KSPData folder as well, you can upload them to dropbox
  12. Guys, we found that non-English operating system languages causes a similar issue on Linux, are you all using English?
  13. I've added your finding to the Linux thread by the way, so it can help others
  14. Control+rightclick a building to show the demolish button
  15. Hi -RanZ- General Discussion is not the place for every single thread any member thinks to post, this is why sub-forums exist, and threads will be moved to more appropriate forums as and when necessary. And rather than being dead forums, they are very much alive and members are encouraged to view and post to all the sub-forums the KSP forums offer. The "ridiculously stupid amount of moderation" is standard procedure and will continue. If you have an issue with this you can contact KasperVld with your concerns. Closing thread.
  16. I'm not having any trouble with your plane, I managed to get to the island with it, the log shows it colliding with the rest of the plane but not why. The missing Kerbal is strange though and suggests a corrupted save or part file. I'd try making a new save, also deleting the mk1 cockpit, look for "Kerbal Space Program Steam/GameData/Squad/Parts/Command/mk1Cockpit" and doing a game cache verification in Steam, you can do that by right clicking KSP, selecting Properties, then Local Files, then Verify cache.
  17. Hmm, did you try "LC_ALL=C %command%" and "LC_ALL=C %command%_64" in the run options? The Linux Thread
  18. Oh okay, though "LC_ALL=C ./KSP.x86_64" should prevent this for the 64bit version and the KSP.x86 has that built in. LC_LANG=EN should work as well.
  19. Go back to the Support page and look at the top few threads, the ones you need are marked [Official] This issue you have is not happening to anyone else, so we need your KSP.log, output_log, settings.cfg and dxdiag to even begin figuring this out.
  20. No I don't think you're missing anything, this could be a Unity bug, there was an update to Unity4x, and this seems to be affecting Windows and OS X as well.
  21. The most wobbly parts for me seem to be the stack decouplers, tanks seem pretty rigid. Higher gimbal doesn't help, you can dial it back though.
  22. This may be a stock bug, but no ones figured it out yet.
  23. Stay on topic please, this isn't a FAR thread, I shouldn't have entertained the FAR comment myself either. But like I said, Squad shouldn't change aero back, just tweak it a bit
  24. That'd suck for everyone who doesn't like FAR, people can choose to install FAR if they like
