  2. It'd be nice, I know a lot of players want it but I'm not aware of any plans for this.

People asked for more realism and they got it, you can't stack wings like that in real life and expect to get full lift from them, wing-stacking in that manner is essentially a cheat even for a single player game, much like filling a cube made of wings with more wings to make it fly. Also I have noticed you have made several of these threads Roflcopterkklol, with the explicit intent to incite a negative reaction from the community. So I've closed this and I'll close the next one you make as well.

  8. Nothing was mined due to confusion over how mining works, drills were overheating due to being situated in poor areas for mining. However, vessel heat is not handled by the same code and is not designed to dissipate while on rails, sorry but this intentional.
  9. It reacts only to heat, there's not really any air simulation in KSP, and yes this is how it works. Try not to let your engines get too hot.
  10. Several people are having texture issues, it seems driver related so please check your graphics driver and update it if required.
  11. This is not happening to everyone, just a handful of players so there must be a common cause amongst those affected, maybe old saves, some software you all use or other factor. That it came out of nowhere though is worrying. The only thing that could survive reinstall is your saves and the registry entries for KSP.

  13. It's not caused by anything on your end guys, the Squad server had certificate and DNS issues and now it's just not allowing connections properly. Squad are away till Tuesday I think, yet another national holiday over in Mexico.
  14. Sub components of the same vessel you mean, for example a Saturn V is one vessel, despite being comprised of a CSM, LM and assorted stages.
  15. This should be fixed in the latest update, 1.0.2, but as a precaution it is advised to not use a scanner as a root part.
  16. Unfortunately it didn't, there's nothing in those logs to suggest any problem, how are each of you starting KSP, maybe there's something in common here. Also, what anti-virus are you all using?
  17. The axis of the control surfaces is intersecting or in front of the CoM, this is an old issue, move your wings back or change their angle so the control surfaces do not intersect the CoM.
  18. Try updating KSP, your buildID file should say 842, I have experienced the bug you mention and it's fixed in the latest version.
  19. Lots of things are good for gameplay, overheat mechanics are a good gameplay element for example, but what makes them good gameplay elements is the challenge they offer the player. Unrealistic is fine if it's fun, as is realism, but neither are fun if they present no challenge, they quickly become ho-hum, the player beats the game with little effort and loses interest. Similarly, too much challenge can be un-fun and turn players away, but KSP has a very good difficulty balance, making it fun for a lot of people despite not being 100% realistic, or 100% arcadey.
  20. You could just turn on surface attach in the cfg and see what happens, seeing as it's off though I guess it's by design.
