  1. To be honest, the patcher has always been difficult, and all I can really recommend is you get the full zip from the store instead :/

How about 11,944... katateochi takes tier 0 parts and unlocks the entire tree in two launches and 38 days, which is a challenge all by itself. -------------------- Now this is really thinking outside the game, can the KSP community put a satellite in space? Maybe we can, join the discussion in the KSP Community CubeSat thread by K^2 Anything is possible...
  4. _Augustus_, you will have to be more patient for any fixes to this or any other addon, modders do this in their free time which can be limited.
  5. Okay I can understand them not working properly in addons, and they use different scancodes to the keyboard number keys so KSP is probably not set up to use them. But, I can use my numpad to move the camera when numlock is off, though like you I can't use it to input numbers. I can use the numpad in the settings screen, again with numlock off, and KSP detects it just fine (it just says numlock if numlock is on) so it can be mapped and used to an extent. Unity seems not to be seeing the numpad numbers as being numbers, but the arrows and pageup, pagedown and the rest are working.

  7. These threads always end in tears, or closures, today it's a closure as these are little better than conspiracy theories, which are against the rules because of the arguments they cause. Even if conspiracies were allowed they wouldn't be allowed in the Science Labs
  8. The PNG's alpha channel always messed up my textures, I either removed it or used another format.
  9. Other methods for activating parts is coming later, only stage activating made it in for 0.24
  10. styckx, does KSP not register the numpad keys when you use them in the controls screen?

An air compressor doesn't use blades and the compressed air can be piped to where you want it and released, if released at a lower or equal rate to the compressor charging the air reservoir you'll have a constant flow of cooling air, especially as it'll be colder as it expands. That's probably your only realistic option.
  13. The savegames use the exact same code to parse them, the 64bit executable is large address space aware and uses some different .dll's (libs on Linux/osx) It's the stuff you don't see that makes the 64bit binaries less reliable, unfortunately.
  14. I sorta remember that, there was a challenge thread that asked you to get a recording stage to the Mun, it was good fun but it was ages ago so may be hard to find now.
  15. Different offsets is not surprising, as not only has Unity changed since this was first posted, more lines of Squad code have also been added so the offsets have moved. What offsets did you use gerner?
  16. It'd have to be a plugin, there's no way to do it in the stock game, sorry.
  17. Yep, it's less stable, it'll get better with Unity updates though Oh and I moved this to development discussion.

  20. It's a bug, it's not meant to happen. I've informed the devs, all we can do now is cross our fingers.
  21. Just in case, you tried just tapping F5 yes? We only hold F9 to load.
