  1. Heh, Imgur tags don't work quite that way, try this:
  2. Jeeze, you know what I meant, we'd not have resources for nothing, we'd have had to build rocket parts and make fuel, sure some of us can get to Duna and the rest without LV-N's but for many, NERVA interplanetary craft are de rigueur.
  3. Yeah I thought it might be up to date but I wanted to make sure, I didn't know the PC was so new though. Have you tried running KSP with "LC_ALL=C"? It forces Posix compatibility and may help.
  4. Especially Munster cheese
  5. Oh this tired worn out argument once more, we almost had a week go by without it, thanks EleSigma :/ Mining resources, from what I've been able to gather, was a catch 22 situation. You can't get the resources unless you reach the other planets, but you can't reach the other planets without the resources... Plus mining can be extremely dull (I'm looking at you EVE online), forcing players to mine is bad, but if we don't have to mine what's the point of having mining? You already paid, you're going to get the updates for free, you have nothing to complain about
  6. That's good to hear styckx. Sierra004, I'm stumped, ext4 should be perfectly fine, can you try "sudo apt-get install libgl1-mesa-glx:i386" ? I'm wondering if this may be a hardware issue, gnome-disk-utility should allow you to check the hard drives S.M.A.R.T status.
  7. Just one little arrowhead the same colour as the orbit line a little way ahead of your craft would be plenty, we'd very quickly lean where to look
  8. Jodo42, only one of those decouplers are even connected, this is just how KSP works, you need to use struts to strengthen your rocket.
  9. What filesystem are you using? Also, can you try running KSP from a new user profile in case there's a bad setting somewhere?
  10. Hmmm, those are from your joystick I think, that can't possibly be the cause surely? Something's really screwy with your install, Steam says 1060 files are bad every time?
  11. In Ubuntu 13.10 it's enough to just install the 32bit version of the package you want, for example "sudo apt-get install libgl1-mesa-glx:i386" I'm not seeing the crash in the log, just the graphics issues I noticed before, do you get any info in the terminal when you start KSP from there?
  12. This was caused by a savefile? You should have kept it so I could take a look.
  13. jwenting, your troll is showing, you might want to do something about that
  14. The Mun looks fine here, it's dead on 0 degrees
  15. How about making a basket lined with ladders, with landing legs acting as a cover? Once the Kerbal is inside it's just a matter of time and pressing F
  16. Sierra004, to run the 32bit KSP on a 64bit system you will need to install the 32bit libraries, you can use "ldd ./KSP.x86" to see what's missing. Ghostbird, please post your KSP.log to pastebin.
  17. That's actually pretty impressive, looks like the old blue void bug though, I guess you had some engines running at the time?
  18. Oh man, this may be part of it And: This does not explain the 1060 files though, can you try starting the KSP.x86 and KSP.x86_64 directly?
  19. And this is where this thread dies, to expect new parts to never be better than old parts, and for old stuff to never be obsoleted is unrealistic, this occurs in the real world all the time. KSP is a game, the only person preventing you from using "obsolete" parts is yourself, let other people play the game in their way. Closing.
  20. KSP doesn't like Optirun, try disabling it. Also try the LC_ALL=C fix, and I see you are using an Ivybridge GPU, you may want to try the fix tgvaughan mentioned above
  21. Lets not start any this verses that arguments here please, the thread is about Krytens android tablet, not other hardware
  22. You can do the above in regular notepad, no need for anything fancy, just don't use wordpad as it'll munge the file.
