  1. What is the best IVA mod to use? Also any advice on what a good planet mod to add is as there are so many out there. I want a planet mod that adds more planets to live on and more resources ect.. Also what life support mod works with 4.3 version?
  2. No. I'm saying I like the Oxygen system that TAC has but like USI more as it looks cleaner.
  3. Would love to see ways of getting metals from the ocean or other planets and being able to actually use them to patch up space stations or vehicles. Or even create new parts entirely. You could put them into a converter to get 1 sheet of metal or however many is realistic. That then can be use to craft new parts, patch up space stations when parts wear away or reach the end of their life ect.. just depends on how advanced you can go and what a modder is willing to do.
  4. YES. I love this. Would love to see new types of resources that you can get from the ocean with new parts to make better subs that you can use to produce fuels or can be converted into electricity.
  5. I know it is but would like to see it on it's own or have an option for that.
  6. Don't like this idea BUT maybe space weather would be a more simple way to go?
  7. I LOVE this! Kerbals SHOULD get ill and injured and gives us more things to think about and in general more of a challenge.
  8. Will Oxygen ever be a thing for USI Life Support? It could be an option that could be turned on or off. I prefer USI over TAC but like having to provide Oxygen as it adds to the challenge.
  9. More things I would like to see are: 1) Create a mission 2) Have outer planets that have a purpose to go to them 3) Being able to craft things from material collected. Working space craft parts, modules ect..
  10. Is there any create a mission mod? That would be similar to 'telling' stories or whatever if you could edit every aspect of a mission or create your own which is even better.
  11. Be nice to have a mod where you can find more materials, different ones to do different things with.
  12. Does this work with current version and how do I install it?
  13. Yes yes yes! I haven't bought the game yet BECAUSE it doesn't have life support or many resources that you can mine. I don't want to have to rely on mods, rather have it in the vanilla game. Would really enjoy mining if you could also build your own parts for cheaper then premade parts among the things you have said above. Building space stations piece by tiny piece or with large parts should be an option. Building it piece by piece can be the cheaper one while having larger parts already built would be the more expensive choice.
  14. Ability to create proper space stations and habitats. Life support to go with it. Creating our own missions would be cool too with a share feature to share with other players.
  15. I know there are mods out there that are a solution to my suggestion but the point is I don't really want a lot of mods. I'd rather have stock over mods any day. Mods are good don't get me wrong however I prefer to keep my game as free from mods as possible. My suggestion would add a purpose for space stations and make the game more in depth which would improve our space programs hugely. We could do so much more if only the tools were given to us (i.e gets added to the stock game). How cool would it be to eventually build bases on other planets? Piece by piece from the items we mine. It would make it a more challenging and more rewarding experience because you worked hard for it. It doesn't need to be near impossible just difficult enough to make it a fun challenge. For those that would rather build it in larger sections you could pay more cash for it. The cheaper way is to mine the items yourself and get your engineers to make it. The result of implementing my idea into the game would mean: Other planets have more of a purpose then before due to what you mine from them being more useful and versatile but also because you can build bases on them. Adds more depth and more room for being creative. Adds more options for your space program to branch out because space stations will have a purpose. If you guys have any other ideas for space stations ect.. feel free to add them.
  16. That's an interesting thread. Man I hope developers listen to us. If they do listen to some of our suggestions this game can be 1000000X more awesome then it already is. Imagine not training your kerbals and things go wrong lol. Being all like.. Oops maybe I should actually train them. Entertaining much?
  17. Yes! This is exactly what I would love to see. Something that is more in depth so we can use space stations without using mods all of the time. It is a sand box after all so why can't we have the option to explore living on other planets, conducting experiments to see what the effects are and everything else involved in this. Be great to mine and use what you mine to actually craft your living areas because this would make other planets being there actually useful. The same way we build our space rockets/planes we could craft our areas but we would need materials to do so which you can find on other planets. We could mine on other planets to build bases on them or adventure out to mine and bring it back. Depends which challenge you like the most! This game has so much potential I just hope KSP developers listen to our suggestions because most developers don't.
  18. I like these ideas and fully agree. I'd LOVE the game to be more in depth to be honest. We should be able to go through proper training phases with our kerbals for a set amount of in game time because then we have the feeling of yes we just trained them and worked hard at it! Then when you get them into space or whatever it feels great because you did that. Untrained ones can perform poorly at their jobs and fully trained ones perform better. Partially trained ones are not always reliable but do get the job done after a few accidents.
  19. Although it's a sandbox game I think the fact that we can build space stations should have more depth to them. A simulation. Building a space station should allow you to eventually being able to live on other planets (space buildings that have to be flown there piece by piece). Official space station labs (as in without mods) with various purposes. For example: An exercise research lab to conduct experiments on kerbals on how it effects them when they've been in space for a while. And whatever else is involved in living on a space station and all of the different experiments that need to be done so that eventually we can put our kerbals on other planets where they can live. This would make having other planets more useful and more fun as they could put more things on them so we have a purpose to be on other planets. We could explore and find new things. List is endless if we had the tools available to do so (without mods). Was just playing the game when I thought of this while building a space station. NASA want to do this eventually so why can't we? At the same time we're learning about their work through the game.
