  1. Why not just install both? Or are you saying that they're incompatible?
  2. It could be from having RPM installed as that adds a lot of code that needs to be ran continuously but only on manned ships.
  3. link? I know you can pre-calibrate a specific thrust curve for srm's but I've never heard of throttle-able srm's (unless you're talking about solid-liquid hybrids)
  4. No restrictions so go ahead. The only thing to keep in mind is that if you are making a profit from this website (like if it has ads), then you won't be able to post links to it on this KSP forum per rule 2.2i (no "self promotional posts or that promote a 3rd party for profit, monetization other than optional donation (adf.ly etc) and advertising products or services without prior approval")
  5. Just a friendly word of advice (and this applies to a lot more than KSP modding) but never assume that something is easy until you've tried to do it yourself. In case you do want to try writing a plug-in, the guide below is a good place to start
  6. Nope there's no restrictions on putting things about Kerbals on different sites (eg https://www.reddit.com/r/KerbalSpaceProgram/)
  7. @Kilmeister @Thomot512 1. Open Steam and go to the KSP page 2. Properties -> General -> Set Launch Options... 3. type in the following: "the path of KSP_x64.exe" %command% ex: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Kerbal Space Program\KSP_x64.exe" %command% 4. run KSP as usuall 5. enjoy your 64 bit KSP! 6. ??? 7. PROFIT!!!!!!!
  8. The thing is that while KSP is technically a multicore game, it sims each ship on 1 thread so in general, it's better to have fewer higher performance cores than more weaker ones. I'd go with the i7 because it has a higher speed per core (3.8gHz vs 3.6gHz). Keep in mind though that this doesn't apply to all games and if you want to be able to stream or do other things while KSP is open it might be better to get the Xeon.
  9. anti-virus's don't like dlls in general, which ones it chooses to flag can vary
  10. But MET doesn't start until it leaves the prelaunch state (iirc) and Snark said "I come back to the original ship (which is still in prelaunch), and it fires a second time, which is a problem."
  11. Find each mods forum thread and then check that the version you have installed is actually for 1.3 and is the latest version. CKAN is good but it can get things wrong.
  12. @Nils277 maybe KSPWheelController.brakeState (float) (https://kerbalspaceprogram.com/api/class_k_s_p_wheel_controller.html#a7eb2e1a9b00097511f3734af2fe38a24)
  13. @A_name my suggestion is to buy a cheap laptop for school/work and then invest in a good desktop rig (if that's possible for you)
  14. The problem is that the stock part textures are unpacked in the GameData folder but the stock building textures are compiled within one of the assetbundles and are inaccessible through config files. You could write code to get to them but it would be really hard and complicated. Instead, I'd suggest making your own textures in a stock style.
  15. @Iso-Polaris are you using BetterTimeWarp? Because that is known to mess with orbits when warping.
  16. lol no worries, you do a lot of good work for all of us
  17. Lol you're welcome. "Tír na nÓg" is the Land of the Youth (basically the heaven of pre-christianity Ireland) so there are a fair few places and pubs named after it.
  18. Click the green button in the top right that says "Clone or Download" and then click on "Download as Zip". From there continue with a typical install procedure.
