  1. Sarbian is working on some new features in addition to getting his mod in working order for KSP 1.2, so I wouldn't count on Custom Barn Kit being updated any time soon.

  3. Unfortunately, the fact that with some reusable rockets you could just fly infinitely many times for free using this mod, is a deal breaker for me. Otherwise, it's wonderful idea for a mod.
  4. Does this mean that ULA pack may never be released at all? If it's entirely up to ULA corporations, and if they wont even answer then release will be postponed indefinitely?
  5. I love the idea! Few questions nonetheless: 1) Does refuelling cost money? 2) If so, is fuel price the same as in VAB/SPH? 3) Is it perfectly compatible with Real Fuels?
  6. @tajampi How is your work doing? I just can't wait for an updated version of Engine Lighting, so that I could use it without lighting up entire planet during orbital insertion.

  9. @TiktaalikDreaming Detail in your work is amazing. In my opinion you should totally forget about stock game and focus all your efforts on making this mod fully compatible with RO/RSS/RP-0. Your work is most valuable for people who want their game to be as realistic as possible, and those people (myself included) wouldn't touch stock game with a 3.048 metres pole.

  11. @JuxuR Looks like you don't have scatterer installed. Once I ended with identical result, because I didn't actually install scatterer, thinking it's bundled already with RVE. Check if you have scatterer.dll in your GameData/scatterer folder.
  12. @h0yer As far as I know, RSSVE is just modified and expanded RVE, so merging it would make no sense. For me the most important difference between those two is that RSSVE disables Kopernicus' oblate features, thus making it's scatterer configs for outer planets possible.
  13. @EliasDanger Well, it's working for me. All I did was replacing RSSVE's sunflare.cfg with the sunflare.cfg from Astroniki, then editing it's flareSettings to 0.45,1,0.085 and spikesSettings to 0.6,1,0.1. Do you use the latest version of scatterer? Previous one had non-working sunflares in KSP 1.1.3. @Phineas Freak I guess I should have asked you for permission first before blabbing about it here. It was such an improvement for me that I just couldn't resist sharing the news with others. Anyway, thank you immensely. Also, what do you mean by saying that it is not a replacement for RVE? I deleted RVE and put RSSVE in it's place. Should I have both RVE and RSSVE in my GameData folder?
  14. Thank you for all this information. I remember author of Orbital Decay, @Whitecat106, saying that it's compatible with RSS. I guess it's not then. It would be nice if Cat himself could clarify the situation. Nonetheless, I have one more question. It's about unrealistic EVA fuel that is magically restored every time you return to your vehicle, even if there is no RCS fuel on board. Do I need to install EvaFuel in order to fix it, or did Realism Overhaul take care of it in some other way?
  15. Do you guys and gals know about PhineasFreak's take on RVE, called RSSVE? You can find it here. After months of struggle with RVE and scatterer's settings, RSSVE is like a miracle for me. It contains reworked version of RVE as well as settings for scatterer including all planets in Real Solar System. For the first time everything is working as it should. The only things I had to tweak were the apparent size of the sun (I lowered %sunAU to 1 in RSSVE_Global_Config.cfg so that it didn't get in the way of the marvelous Astroniki sunflare that I use) and ocean settings (I swapped Earth's OceanSettings.cfg for the original OceanSettings.cfg for Kerbin, as PhineasFreak's version was too burdensome for my computer).

  17. May I ask why Realism Overhaul does not recommend Persistent Rotation and/or Orbital Decay?
  18. @Whitecat106 I adore your work! I was wondering, is it possible to remove all contracts except soviet ones? I want to start career in RO/RSS/RP-0 based on soviet space program, using Raidernick's parts.

  22. Please tell me, is DOE 1.7.2 fine to use with RSS on KSP 1.1.3? I'm asking because, unlike DOE 1.7.1, version 1.7.2 does not include (as far as I know) configs for RSS.
  23. So, is this contract pack compatible with Realism Overhaul + Realistic Progression Zero?
