Ok thanks! I'll try again with lower then 70%. I also use CTT, and in the past (pre-BG) Whenever I used under 70% I'd end up stagnated where I didnt have enough science to get new parts, and I couldn't reach the places I needed to go to get the science,without the new parts lol. -

Cool ^^. I plan on using dmagic and BG, as well as both KLF and Dang it with default settings. I dont think I'll use less then 50% science unless i re-integrate KEI into my save to get the ksp science. -

Thanks! I'll try it again,when i tried that it took away ALL the Kerbal experience, even that of the orange suits. Though that was before i had updated all my mods to 1.7, so maybe an outdated one had broken it. EDIT: it just dawned on me that it might not of been broken...according to the KSP wiki the kerbals XP is represented by black stars...I thought it was gold stars that filled in the black one. woops -

Hello! WARNING:The following info contains spoilers related to KSP easter eggs. Proceed at your own risk. If you do not want spoilers, turn back now. My suggestion for the next DLC would be for the original story line idea to be finished. Right now all that exists for it is the SSTV transmitter on Duna,transmitting an image of the 4 precursors and their government's symbol. I think it would be awesome if the net DLC finished the original idea, connecting all the easter eggs together and providing a sorta optional "end game" for lack of better words, to KSP. Each easter egg would give some kind of clue to either the next easter egg, or to the final end goal planet,which may have some kind of super engine or something that can be unlocked (or just something awesome to explore) Information about this taken from:https://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/List_of_easter_eggs#Easter_Egg_Narrative

And what did your kerbals ever do to you to deserve such a cruel fate as trying to land on a gas giant?? (Joke sorry, the image in my mind that was created by reading those 2 sentences together made me laugh hard. Your actual mission sounds awesome!! ) Anyway,to answer OP: I have also never legitimately successfully gone interplanetary (one failure in full stock, followed by 1 trip via hyperedit to drive a rover around out of boredom in a save i then nuked shortly afterward), but i love building bases on Minimus and the Mun. I haven't been able to succeed in docking enough to call my self good at it either (one success full docking in 2 years of trying), but once i do i cant wait to build space stations ^^.

Tourists by default dont exist in science mode, however USI LS causes my Kerbals to revert to tourists if i run out of food (i dont have the heart to kill an entire space station because i was a day late with delivery). I can half obey that rule ^^ -

Are all of the new surface features solid objects? or do you just float through 90% of them like the regular scatter? I'm planning multiple missions to the mun,minimus,and localized kerbin missions. Dunno if I'll post pictures, but will list any I find ^^. -
Hello! I recently restarted my custom modded science save for 1.7, and I'm looking for suggestions for custom rules. I'm playing with over 50 mods and the breaking ground DLC. Right now i have: Science set to 70% No revert upon kerbal death unless caused by the kraken No revert on flight failure unless kraken or forgetting something extremely minor (aka,fuel lines). Forgetting something major (my staging) will still count as no revert. No revert outside of Kerbin's SOI for any reason, big,small,or inbetween Play with Life support (USI) All Kerbals in roster must get fair usage (This is less of a rule and more of a reminder, since i tend to just grab Jeb and leave all the rest behind) Any other rules/suggestions for my playthrough are welcome! Hello! I am trying to update my game to the latest version in preparation for getting the breaking ground DLC, however I don't know how to use the patcher. In the past I've just re-downloaded the entire game,but after reading about how the patcher was much quicker i decided to use it. However, when i open it up, it asks me to pick a valid KSP folder. Which folder should i choose? Thanks! took a lucky guess and it worked out,srry for post.

Hello! After my 15th failed career mode this month quarter of the year, I've decided to try out science mode instead (something I've rarely done due to it being easy imo). So to try and help make it more difficult, I was wondering if anyone had a list of recommended mods for it,parts or otherwise? Also, does anyone if there is a mod that allows me to have contracts in science mode that reward science instead of money? I enjoy (but don't need) pre-set goals to follow. Thanks! Edit: 1 thing i just thought of: Are there any mods for giving kerbals XP/lvling up in science mode? So my Kerbals aren't all instant gods

Ok thxs! for to make sure i don't include any logos and stuff I'm making custom flags/decal based off my world, so that way its 100% logo free even if i use full blown screenshots (unlikely). I'm not sure what you mean about a toilet? But my stuff is not going to offensive, just things like planes, rovers/trucks, and maybe helicopters (if i get an answer about mods). I'm not totally sure what the "endorse your project" part means (@UomoCapra,could you explain?), but i was mostly looking for the "you wouldn't be breaking any rules" part. I'll definitely use at least the Wire-frame model, as well as probably Kronal vessel viewer. I may use 1-2 regular screenshots but as stated earlier, this is currently unlikely, as my main goal is to just get a basic image to say "This is what it looks like,ignore my horrible wordie-ness that probably makes no sense", as well as making sure my vehicles are within the realm of reason on the "will this even fly" chart (which doesn't require pictures at all).
