  1. It's my only option. My parents got me this particular laptop because it's upgradable, and it has to last, because I'm paying for the next one.
  2. I'm not sure, but I THINK a new computer would cost more than a RAM upgrade. Pretty sure.
  3. I get what it does, but why are the junos orange?
  4. I get it, but the video doesn't exactly show how it works.
  5. I actually got it working. VRAM FTW, I guess.
  6. Well, that's an idea, but not exactly plausible. Not being able to have a browser open is a real problem. I have yet to figure out KSPIE to the point where I'm willing to prevent myself from being able to look online. I actually remembered something called vRAM, gonna see if it helps.
  7. yeah, well, unfortunately for my wallet AND my income of $1 per week (I'm 14) except when I mow the lawn (which isn't often in winter), my laptop has only 2 memory slots, both with 8 gigs installed. The max capacity is 32 gigs, and I'd have to have at least half of the $320, plus my parents' help to get the upgrade. And due to my acquiring a Switch for Christmas, my wallet is being split 3 ways between expensive things. New SSD. Moar RAM. And new game(s) for Switch. Any workarounds for memory?
  8. Pretty big problem, I'd say. Now how the am I going to afford to get a memory upgrade?
  9. I've already got janitor's closet installed, but there's not exactly anything I won't need. I mean, maybe the legacy parts, but there's probably not that many in there. (cue me finding a gigabyte's worth of legacy parts) As for the SSD suggestion, my KSP directory is close to 9 gigabytes now. I have my personal data/games/programs/memes stored on my data directory, and my OS and stuff on my OS directory. The OS is an SSD, data's hard disk. I don't really have that much spare cash, as I've got other money-suckers requiring my income. Fortunately I don't pay rent. Or bills. Ah, the joys of being 14.
  10. I've got a really modded copy of KSP (you might have seen some of my issue reports somewhere) and it comes across quite a few different errors. Such as this one. All data is here. Please help.
  11. I've got a copy of KSP with a ton of mods on it. (along with 3 others, namely my semi-stock, RO/RSS, and Kerbal Kommander ones) And it takes a reeeeeally long time to load. I've got over 150 mods on it, all of which aren't exactly disposable. So, my question is, what mods are there that'll speed up loading times? And no, removing the big mods is not an option here.
  12. That helps. I knew about outlaw racing, but not the other mods. Don't understand what Boost Flap Controller's supposed to do though.
  13. So, I've got an insanely modded version of KSP with procedural parts as one of the mods that's been installed basically since the beginning. Recently it stopped working. Like, the game doesn't even load past it. All data is here. I've also got an issue put up on github here. Please help.
  14. well, even then, Kerbal Foundries Refounded provides some awesome wheels, but there's really not, well, any car bodies.
  15. Fair enough, but still.
  16. So, I've been looking around the interwebs for a while now, and I have a simple question about the status of car part mods. Not rovers, but cars. The question is simply, where the are they? Seriously, where are the car mods? I'm not sure there even are any, at least for 1.3 and 4. To put it simply, could someone change that? EDIT: okay I was wrong, there's at least 3. But still.
  17. I just found an awesome mod for 1.2 and tried it out. Game crashed. Only 3 mods, KER, Kerbal Kommander, and Module Manager. All crash report files are here. Also, the crash happened twice. Please help. Oh, also, I'd love it if someone would take it upon themselves to take command (rimshot) of the Kerbal Kommander development. The mod seems pretty dead, but is really cool.
  18. Should the video be blocked in basically every country? EDIT: seed not working, please help. It also periodically throws errors during the 2nd loop of the gen (after I give an answer of "n" to the question of whether or not I'm satisfied with the results) EDIT 2: The galaxy info of both galaxies plus my awful mouse drawn text:
