  1. I realize this is quite old, but I am having a similar issue, but with the LV-900. It has no sound. It appears to be the only engine, Ven's or otherwise, where I have this issue. I have minimal sound mods installed, all from Pizza overhead if I'm not mistaken. I have done a clean install and the sounds work just fine on a vanilla game. I'm at a loss as to where to begin trying to figure out which other mod might be a conflict with the sound from this lone engine. Any thoughts? Edit.. So I did some more testing in my modded install vs vanilla + ven's. In the modded install the sound of the engine running is still there, but significantly reduced. I compared it to 'vanilla' ven's and it is definately quieter. The sound itself is also different. Ven's is mostly a retexture mod right? So should I start looking at other mods that may have re-purposed some of the engines? I don't think I have any mods like that, but I'm not totally sure. I'm just not sure where to start looking for the source of this 'glitch.' Cheers,
  2. Redirected from here. I am interested in adding other antennas, but to be pragmatic, its probably best that you include antennas from the most popular mods, so you do not have to field off the wall requests all the time. While I think it would be great if you added ORIGAMI and Antennas, I would be remiss if I didn't at least say that I think you should only do it if you think prudent. Basically, don't waste your time if you don't think its worth your time. For what its worth I do use Ven's and OPM and have been keeping on eye on Probe's plus, because having additional antennas is usually a bonus. One of the things I have been waiting for is for the mod to move from Dev to release. The main thing though, is I wanted to compare all of his parts, to make sure I didn't have any redundant parts (in this case antennas) with the rest of my mods. I already have a big enough parts catalog as is. This spreadsheet will go a long way in helping me prune parts as required. Cheers,
  3. @Poodmund this is awesome. I try to add the antennas I need and not pepper the entire ship with every and all available antennas. This will go along way in figuring out which antennas are best for a particular mission set instead of hovering over each antenna in the VAB and trying to figure it out. I also like that you've added other antenna mods (ones I presume are common). I have no idea which antenna mods are the most common or if that even played into your decision to include them, but 2 other mods that I have that specifically add antennas deliberately for RT that were not included are ORIGAMI antennas and Antennas. Food for thought. Either way, as is this thing is gold.
  4. I am using kopernicus, for OPM. I'll have to check my terrain settings though. I want to say the closest I got to the point the contract wanted me to go to was about 38m. I don't recall exactly though. Still a cool mod!
  5. Not sure if its a bug, but the Volcano does not have a description for me other than "Plume configured by RealPlume." All of the rest of the cryo/NFT engines have descriptions. Some with the real plume comment, some without. Could be other mods I have, but the only part that I have found that is affected is the Volcano. https://www.dropbox.com/s/v2qtjmch8erlevd/20160827211132_1.jpg?dl=0
  6. Highest I was able to get on Kerbin was 6764m @ Lat 61.5983422096082 Long 61.5983422096082 according to Waypoint Manager. I was unable to complete the contract in game however. I had to F12 complete it..
  7. I second this if its possible/reasonable. As an aside, the Filter extensions mod already has an additional 'agnostic' life support tab in the parts filter that may be beneficial to you.
  8. Editing the vessel name is possible via the knowledge base from the tracking station, NOT the flags however.. Sadly, I just tested this.
  9. @GoSlash27 link appears to be broken.
