Cupcake's Dropship Dealership...

I know, but something similar would be awesome. (you would not need to make it as small, just something similar.) you could use ant engines and those "donut" tanks. -

That's adorable! If you could make something like that with monoprop or lf/o I would be very thankful. Maybe you could give them their own spot on the OP. -
Yeah, They are awesome!

maybe something smaller, or at least sleeker, it's cute though! What is it powered by? I guess the juno would provide some power, but not enough to power all the lights and the probe core, right? it looks kind of like Todo 360 from star wars clone wars. AWESOME!!! If you made a smaller unmanned version, that would be like the probe I was thinking about. -
soon everyone working on ksp will leave if this keeps up

Make a lf/o version for duna, dres, ect, a monoprop version for moons, and one with a juno for laythe. E: make an ion version too maybe? -
In all seriousness, what was that thing on Wal? Was it a mod part, also it reminds me of the movie "Sphere" in the film they find a giant gold ball that looks like that, and it gives them superpowers.

Moar?

okay...

Hmmmm, I thought it was superconducting. oh well.

This. is. AWESOME! I have an idea! Make a low pressure environment, and then try to grow plants in it. this test would be a good analogue to mars, or terraformed mars. in my country (canada) you can get CO2 really easily.

NASA has a bunch of its 3D models up on GitHub....
Hast5250 replied to Knotty's topic in Science & Spaceflight
if you can make a mesh and model from it, then, yes probably! That's a challenge, mod makers! -
Pyrolitic carbon is a superconductor at room temperature.

Athena ... a ridiculously huge stock space station.
Hast5250 replied to Azimech's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
That is massive! If I tried to run that, my computer would die! -

Mass extinction from Star Destroyer crash?
Hast5250 replied to cubinator's topic in Science & Spaceflight
The star destroyer would probably mostly burn up before it impacted the planet, but there would still be considerable damage; IE the destruction of a massive city. -
NASAs 0.1 Micronewton Thrusters Looking Good

Woah this stuff is crazy! but why wouldn't they just tether the satellite to the station? -
How to get a probe into a distant future?
Hast5250 replied to lugge's topic in Science & Spaceflight
It could be powered by a nuclear breeder reactor, and would have a powerful magnetic field, the reactor would last a long time, and the magnet would collect magnetic space dust and surround itself with a sort of recycled shell. I know it may sound far fetched, but a living probe sounds far fetched too. -

cool! I bet this could come in handy on recoverable launchers. -
Cupcake's Dropship Dealership...
Hast5250 replied to Cupcake...'s topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Hey, cupcake, I challenge you to make a tiny probe in your characteristic vtol style, maybe some kind of trainer drone. I think I speak for a bunch of people when I say that it would be cool if you would make a bunch of tiny, yet beautiful drones. You could also make a dropship that can deliver them somewhere. -
It is a good method if you want to save oxidizer, or if you are using nukes, then you do not need oxidizer at all!
