  1. Hello again, fellow Kerbalnauts, I've returned after a long slumber to bring to you a brand new shuttle that I've been developing over the past couple of days Endeavour - https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B_ZkNlM8j7rjR25kd2hraDNzX1k Mass - 410 tons Part count - ~290 Height - 35m Width - 12.6m Length - 21.2m ACTION GROUPS - 1 - Toggle Bay Doors Best way to fly it, that I've noticed, is that as soon as you launch, the craft wants to pull west at about 5 m/s within 10 seconds, so pull 5 degrees east. Once you lose the boosters, you'll be going about 270- 310 m/s and 6.5 km up. at that point, you will notice your velocity dropping just a little bit. DO NOT PANIC, it goes away pretty fast. At the altitude of 20 km and about 450 - 500 m/s, pull to 40 degrees east , once at 28-30 km, roll 180 degrees so the large tank is under you, closer to the ground. Once that happens, go to map view to monitor your Ap (Apogee) , once it's around 65-80 km, go back to the shuttle and reduce engines to 2/3rd power, and burn BELOW PERIAPSIS NODE. You need the horizontal velocity more than vertical velocity at this point. You will run out of fuel at around 2.1 km/s. Nose down, and while the shuttle's still moving, jettison the main tank and start the OMS engines and burn for a few seconds to get away from the big tank. Time warp to about 2 minutes to Ap, and start up the OMS to push to orbit. Great, you're in orbit, and probably wondering how to get down. Easy! just point your OMS in retrograde direction and fire when you're 90-100 degrees west of the space center in perspective to Kerbin. Point your shuttle up at about 25-40 degrees while in atmosphere to aero break. (Do not go above 40, or you'll flat spin at orbital speed, NOT pretty) The shuttle has a very low stall speed, it's about 45 m/s. so make sure you land the thing Anyways, hope you guys enjoy my masterpiece! pics - (just realized I misspelled Endeavour as Endeveror)
  2. Releasing a more stable and reliable shuttle in an hour.

  3. Last Monday of school! Final week of my Sophomore year in High school!

  4. No school today, major storm roll'd over us last night. Many power outages.

  5. just when flying a vessel, it fixes all problems for me.
  6. When the UI locks up for me, I just F5 and F9, it usually works. Perhaps it'll work for you?
  7. Is there any cfg file that would allow me to alter a planet's parameters? (Inclination, pe/ap, ecc) Any help would be great! -TheKorbinger
  8. I love the idea of multiplayer, the fact that people can come together to build things just fascinates me. Co-op can be a thing along with multiplayer, but what if when a player where to time-warp, it would control the entire game's time, and everyone in it. Such a thing would require communication (like Discord/ TS3/Skype) to notify that player. Or, you can have something like when you where to timewarp, a notification box would come up, that would make you select whether or not you want to timewarp with that person. Someone needs to try this! I would, but i have no idea how to make mods =/
  9. In an act of rebellion, I smashed my 230 ton plane into the ground to show the planet Kerbin to stop producing gravity. Didn't work.
  10. I want a straight edge to a round end, it (looks like it) kinda curves inward. I hate it. I use those too ;3
  11. My Sukhoi SU-34 replica exploded on the runway, shooting debris out of the solar system at like 30% the speed of light, last I checked, the number was so long, it was like 6 inches on my screen Due to timewarping, I travel alot :3
  12. Smaller engines, or bigger drone, yes. Have you tried adjusting the thrust levels of your vehicle? That could help if you reduced the engines thrust a bit.
  13. Ayy!! Long time since I've been here! anyways, I've built 2 new aircraft, that have been through some extensive testing, and i'm ready to release them. Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner : https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B_ZkNlM8j7rjcUpBVWZNOXY0MG8 4 engines CONTROL GROUPS 1. Flaps 2. 14. Propellers (Mk 1, 2, 3.) 2.5m intakes a not ugly 2.5m nosecone Wings that can be adjusted on size (like Procedural parts) an airline cockpit some radially mounted Ablator heat shields <3
  15. I use google to save my craft files. 1. log into google 2. go to Google Drive 3. click "NEW" 4. upload kerbal space ship (or whatevs) 5. click 'get shareable link' 6. post that link here if you want people to download it REMEMBER: NO PICS NO CLICKS
  16. Welcome to the KSP Forums, Silverwood! Enjoy your stay!
  17. showcasing my ~40 replicas to KSP Forums
  18. 2 years of the very Scottish, Scott Manley. and about 1500 hours of game hey, i could become a real pilot with that time..
  19. The moving of control surfaces is not bound to being in the atmosphere, It's the fact that they are controlled with Hydraulic fluids. (I'd love to see 'Hydraulic Fluid' as a resource that controls surfaces though, Makes it easier to have a 'disaster')
  20. Yes, Orbital decay would be something i'd like to see, but you could have systems on your spacecraft that would maintain your sat/ station at the cost of fuel (perhaps Mono Propellant.) When the fuel runs out, then your orbit begins to decay. Orbital decay would vary over your altitude (e. the higher you are, the less effect it has) I hope squad/take2 implements it!
  21. Upon watching your video, that reentry tells me that your Kerbal became a liquid in the seat. Was cool to watch that though.
  22. banned for having 2 parts of your name that start with 'CRA"
  23. Not at all, because in real life, a 60 meter long aircraft does not behave like a noodle. It's STIIIIF.
