  1. I just tested out the edges of craters glow in the dark but the "lava" does not but then I thought what about putting a cloudlayer that uses Gol's colormap and is put on top of the crater with no particles and set the minlight to 1 it should work. But unfortunately, I forgot EVE flips png images vertically and I am having trouble with just flipping the texture not rotating it. In a planet pack I am developing there is going to be an object which had highly intelegent beings abandon it and they left behind a force field. My idea was that it would function using Hazardous ocean and EVE.
  2. Do you think you could use EVE's Citylights to make the lava on Gol an Vulcan glow in the dark? I will also glow at the surface. also, was the life on Volux intelegent enough to build a force field
  3. Actually I have already started working on configs for OPM and have finished the gas giants as well as an atmosphere for Tekto, glow layers for a couple of bodies and dust layers for slate and thatmo. I apologize for being abrupt but I wouldn't want my work to go towards nothing.
  4. It sure does but it is still a work in progress and uses a lot of cloud layers (especially on urlum and neidon) and it also uses textures from other mods like the clouds on sarnus and the higher clouds on urlum and neidon. I will work on switching over to just ScifiVE.
  5. MysterySloth, You can view the pictures here:
  6. funny thing, I actually started work on that not too long ago, but then I started using other textures from other mods, but the gas giants look AMAZING! I also added the atmosphere for tekto (no clouds yet) as well as glow layers for a few objects.
  7. As an update I am Currently working on the force field (Put around Tekto from OPM until I actually make Habitus) Will Post pics soon Also, does anyone know where I can get a good texture for the Force field?
  8. I think you may want to change the amount of time elapsed since the first generation because some numbers are not adding up. Unless the original space program takes place in 3,999,992,698 BC
  9. I guess you are right, cirrus clouds might work better on olu'um but what about adding a fog layer at 0 height to indicate the "death barrier" have to go(school)
  10. That sounds like a great idea, but what if instead of replacing the other one apply it as a cloud layer (and set its color to 255,255,255, and play with the alpha value a little bit) so that the gas planet might look a little like it has moving gas
  11. so, while browsing the files for the clouds I fount the color map for olu'um, was this used for anything or is it there on accident?
  12. So I am having an issue with the download, it will start loading and then once it gets to about 60% it just stops changing. I opened the task manager an found that It jus stopped downloading! Afterwards, it will say (name of file) couldn't be downloaded. I have tried again numerous times and it just wont download.
  13. Thanks! also do you think you could add snowstorms on vulkine? maybe by using a normal cloudlayer but having the detail texture that looks like floating snow and the volumetric clouds being snow particles
  14. That makes perfect sense! for the dust on Gol are you also adding that cool "fire" cloudlayer at the lava like you did with niebietos.
  15. Actually, that is because I installed a modified version of Scifi visual enhancements to add clouds to Eve, dust to the airless stock bodies, and a glow layer to them as well. But I forgot to change the configs for gol and gullis, so the game was trying to add two cloudlayers to "mun" and "minmus" which don't exist, but I fixed the problem.
