That's why I stick to 1.4.1 and I won't update to 1.4.3 until I hear actual opinions on it. Then I'll decide if i stick to .1 or switch to .3. In any case I skip .2.

I feel like you're attacking a strawman here. The fairing bug was mentioned time and again as a game-breaker, not a mild error.

Jebediah? -
The mod is integrated into stock KSP since 1.3.

Just a question... Was that in Austria, perchance? Mumbai

Closest landing to the KSC yet! Also: I just logged in and I'm already out of likes from this thread alone. Wow.

Juggled the camera between four vessels today, during the late Gilly bombardment. I mean, why wait for a second launch window when you can just launch all the vessels on the first one? Here number 1 arriving in a terribly slow 13km orbit: Closely (not at all) followed by the space station arriving in a 21.5km orbit. Why? Time warp! And here's a satellite. I did the usual shtick when getting a "dock two vessels" contract: Get one tourist contract to the same destination and killing those two birds. Now, remember how I said that I wanted to let the stage that got my station into orbit burn up in Eve's atmosphere? Well, that didn't quite work out as intended. The service bay, along with a battery, the probe core and two broken antennas, surprisingly survived the atmospheric entry. On Eve! And it's very slow and a long way down as well. Just look at this! By the way: Nice colors, I like this... red? But the remains didn't just survive an atmospheric entry, no no. They made it to the ground as well, at ~25m/s INTACT. Quick! Change the name of the vessel to something more appropriate for this situation! Perfect.

So basically a suborbital flight to the other side of the planet?

The new decouplers are barely visible, yes, but they also don't disrupt the white/orage colors of the tanks and capsules. All in all I like the new ones far more.

She could no longer take the guilt of having failed the mission. What a way to go.

@PB666 Why not both?

totm aug 2023 What funny/interesting thing happened in your life today?

Wow. That's... quite an accomplishment, actually. He went out of his way to fail the course, he has to have done that. I hope you don't have to deal with these situations too often. -

Even at 5mph? -
Yes, let the long-time pro do it!

He just got lucky. The next time... he will pay.

Dammit! I accidentally jumped Val into oblivion because I still had 1.3.1 installed! There's "Biggest KSP fail" potential in that story.
-
If it's unsafe, go for it. Suspense is literally the last thing you want in a (so far) successful mission. If it safe, then it would be boring, so don't.
-
Yes. I'd say so.

Oh, I have a solution based on this! Ask one of the guards what color the sky is. If he says "blue", then he's telling the truth, therefore the other is lying, so ask the other "Is this the door to death?". If he says "yes", go through that door. If he says "no", go through the other. If he doesn't say "blue", the other guard is telling the truth. Ask him the same question as before, but this time go through the door if he says "no" and trough the other if "yes". If this counts, let Atlas take the next one.

Reminds me of a hot rod.

Kerbal Space Program update 1.4 Grand Discussion thread.
Delay replied to UomoCapra's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I want to see this being made. Seriously, would that be the first ever "actual" KSP movie?
