  1. Really like how these planets are turning out
  2. To be honest I prefer a realistic tech tree. However, the old one is good for beginners. Maybe make them switchable?
  3. 8/10 Complex ice crystal, points deducted due to blurriness.
  4. Saturn itself is roughly 95 times the mass of earth. That would be 95M⨁ * 10000 = 950000M⨁ Divide that by the number of earth masses that are in sol. 950000M⨁/333000M⨁ = 2.853M☉ If my math is correct (which it might not be because I've been awake since 3 am.) You would have a star 2.853 times the mass of the Sun. It would be an A-type main sequence star, with a luminosity of 111L☉. Note that this does include the moons, rings and other particles.
  5. This is me. Up close. Extremely close.
  6. The smallest is around 1 kilometer. You can theoretically get smaller, but the game won't say that it's under one km under the properties tab. I'm not 100% sure though.
  7. I've actually been playing a lot of Hearts of Iron 4 lately. Here is a save from about a month ago:
  8. Aren't most KBOs around the size of half the size of Makemake?
  9. Probably the best picture I've ever taken. This is a composite. The moons are from an overexposed image taken minutes before the raw data of Saturn was recorded. From Left to Right the moons are: Titan, Enceladus, Dione, Rhea and Tethys.
  10. Yeah... You're going to have to generate a ScaledSpace texture, which is the texture that is used in the tracking station and when you are at a far distance away from the object. To generate it you need KittopiaTech, which is an in-game editor. Just read the thread to learn how to use it: Kittopia only works with 1.3.1 as of right now, so you're going to have to downgrade KSP to that version and reinstall KSP to compensate (otherwise it won't work.) Also, remove the @Body[Kerbin] { obliquity = 15.5 } The base game doesn't support axial tilt as of right now.
  11. Pixel art of inner solar system (excluding Sun and asteroid belt)
  12. Jupiter. Seeing was awful and the GRS wasn't visible. The image still turned out okay, though. Also, Neptune and Triton. I just processed these images a few day ago. The data was at least a year old.
  13. I think that's his house or wall covering the Moon. (Is it?)
  14. Inner Solar System, sizes to scale: Phobos and Deimos should be smaller than a pixel!
  15. Saturn and Titan. Seeing wasn't so good this time. that explains the blurriness. This image is also a composite, which explains why Saturn looks grainy whereas Titan does not.
  16. Jupiter a couple of nights ago, seeing was average. Taken with a 4 inch scope, ~450 images stacked.
  17. When you start making planets again and you discover that KittopiaTech is broken.

  18. I forgot to add an atmosphere to Venus. Yeah, I agree. I forgot to add a filter to Saturn's atmosphere to make it look realistic. I thought I was forgetting something when I saved it but it was too late. Looks fine! Just at some shading on the night sides and the detail, maybe some stars and you're done. Thank you!
  19. The Solar System: I regret making the atmospheres so apparent on Jupiter and Saturn. Might fix later. It feels good to post more art, because I've been pretty inactive lately.
