  1. Most people use an intensity calculator, but I can't give you the link due to privatization issues. If you need any more help, you can DM me or come over some time to the official Kopernicus Discord.
  2. Mine are huge vast numbers and don't contain decimals, except the ones that are large numbers such as 8.122216E+09 Wonder if that's related
  3. Why are the values negative numbers? I think that's why it isn't working
  4. Would you mind if I take a look at it, at least with a pic of the intensity configs? IK that my star is at a similar distance, in Kerbal terms at least.
  5. It is what you suspect, it has something to do with the brightness and/or intensity curves for the star you're making.
  6. I have the demo version of 13.3 that's on my old computer tho and now I have it on Steam...
  7. I'm getting a bit bored.

  8. @SamBelanger has decided to move on in his life and is not working on the mod anymore. @Mrcarrot, @Grand Ship Builder, and I are working together to continue this mod. Pls don't turn this forum into the Mongolian Conquests, we aren't bashing Sam or anything. This is fine print. Please note: We've been very busy the past month and haven't got much done, so don't expect an official release to be up for a bit. For now, you can download the current version at the original forum, thanks! -NickRoss120
  9. A well needed status update: My high school life has taken over my modding life and I need to focus on that rather than this mod. however, I'm working on this still and I'm planning on adding some biomes and such. I'm also making the planets less "orange" and i'm adding a bit of variety to make it more pizzaz-y and stuff. As for my 'procrastination', this is what I'm saying to it currently: (And yes, I'm 1/8th Dutch)
  10. ... I didn't sign up for blaming, all I wanted to do was develop a mod since I did contribute to the now-left-alone (trying to not use the word "abandoned" here) DoubleDouble thread by Sam. Now it seems like a festival of blaming here and now just about everyone from the Kopernicus community is here. They're giving out advice which could actually help us co-owners out, but someone keeps slamming it and "forgets" it. Not going to say who, just let it sink in... However, there's a point in this as we didn't get much done due to how much we've planned to fix or add such as bugs, new planets and stars, and some transliteration issues. I'm kind of stuck at a mid-point here as of now, and that's coming from one of the co-owners, too. I felt like I had to write my memo here.
  11. From what I know, I'm under the impression that he'll abandon the mod after the v1.2 update.
  12. Good point. I was going to say something similar like "BUT we don't have the technology yet to find a whole lot of small planets." but that's what laziness does
  13. Dude, stars with 1 planet are fine. I mean, there are several examples in real life; Almost all hot jupiter systems seem to be single planet systems, Proxima Centauri only has 1, LHS 1140 only has 1, PSR/WD B1620-26 only has 1, Epsilon Eridani likely only has 1, etc. In fact, only roughly 17% of stars have more than one confirmed planet, so finding only one planet around a star is more than likely
  14. May I have a look at one of your planet's config files? I think the issue's in there.
  15. Yes I do, just need to figure out my password for it... It's been forever since I did MM codes, but I'll figure it out again .
  16. I hate to be honest, but yes, Icarus is a very overused name. I suggest keeping the planet's nickname as Tartarus, @Cabbink, because the name makes it feels quite unique and special. Dang! That's less space than the upper radius of Planet Nine! That is not going to live much longer I can tell. I predict that planet will live for another 100 to 1,000 years, if it is a planet and not some eclipsing binaries.
  17. Dang, that is terrifying! At least we don't have to face that inevitability, but then again, it's roughly 1,400 light-years away.
  18. Huh, didn't know that. I've always assumed that you need CRP configs in order for them to appear.
