  1. Granted. There are no creepers, (vines) just creepers. I wish for destiny 2.
  2. You in turn are shocked that I stole it before they realised you'd stolen it.
  3. It would be efficient! It would be a two in one training centrifuge and rotor, it would save money!
  4. @Azimech Those look great, I really want to see you fire a cannon at one of them now. How many blowers do you think I should use? I was thinking 2 panthers. My helicopter is going to built with mk3 parts, but not too big. Also, I love your use of crew cabins in the rotor assembly, have you ever flown them with kerbals in it?
  5. With the sort of craft I build, (Stock warships) I find that I CANNOT build a good craft if I don't have an idea in my head of what it will look or function like. I few times I have layed out a solid core structure, and just deleted the craft as I have no directive to build it after that. Warships take a lot of time to make, I would say I spend around an hour to an hour and a half to finish building, then days and days of 5 minute tweaking and testing.
  6. I came from cupcakes incredible videos. Thank you cupcake.
  7. First quote: Yes! All hail Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy! second quote: what do say to rocks dated to have existed before that?
  8. Whenever you use computers, do not swallow.
  9. Proof: That we can see stars in the sky. If it was created at 7:00 am, we wouldn't be able to see stars for another 4 years. You're faking memory's, not changing the laws of physics. Science!
  10. Ok thanks. WAIT NOW ITS CALLED NAVAL BATTLE "LEAGUE" WHAT?
  11. I might do that, turboshafts are rotors blown by jets right? I would like something with variable thrust without switching, for mine I have bound half the reaction wheels to 1, so to land I quickly switch to the rotor, press 1 and the rotors lose spinning power, meaning I lose height at a comfortable speed. I'm thinking of trying something bigger, and making it a turboshaft is becoming more and more appealing. I'll definitely try out that advice, thanks! Edit: thinking of this one:
  12. @ShadowGoat I finally tested the shadow, the results were mixed. On one hand, the overlapping double layer armour was tough, it actually fully absorbed a G3 Torpedo from closer than optimal range. However, after moving back 500 metres, I was reliably incapacitating it. (I pitted it against an Eos, which is nearly exactly half its mass) Sorry for the lighting, but the entire back section is gone, including engines and most of the I-Beams. I didnt test its weapons against the Eos, because they were regular I-beams and flea torps which deal minor damage. Overall, it is a big step in the right direction but not quite there. It's armour is tough, but it is internally weak. I suspect that the torpedo destroyed a structual girder which the entire back section wasn't built of. Also, I think you should really work on minimising and lightening your designs. At 80 tons it doesn't really do anything that couldn't be done with something half its weight. I would reccomend building small picket and patrol vessels before you try to make massive battle cruisers and frigates. It is a good ship though, i bet if you'd had these in our battle you would have destroyed a few EX-2s. In other news, construction has started on the EX-12, a anti-fighter gunboat style patrol ship, which I'm aiming to be around 25-35 tons. Also, if anyone wants to battle, I'm up for it. Edit: @Spartwo can you uptdate me on the scoreboard as I beat shadowgoat?
  13. however you kick blackberries do not swallow.
  14. During re-entry, the kerbal burned up due to lack of heatshields.
  15. If you want to do co-op, the only way to do it now would be to set up a DMP server, whitch, from what I've heard from a friend, is pretty hard. Edit: Didn't realise it's your first post, Welcome!
  16. I have experience flying VTOLS, and it has basically the same control scheme, just it responds to my input so randomly it's nearly impossible to fly. Helicopter controls in real life compliment and effect each other and need to be compensated for, but it's so bad I can take off, climb a hundred metres, tap any one control button, and it will reliably hit the ground within 30 seconds. If flying a VTOL is like driving a car, flying this is like riding a rabid animal, albeit an animal with suicidal tendencies and a passion for making holes in the ground. I am alternating between my joystick and keyboard, but they have no real difference. I'll test some things out today. There are no jets, partly because I wanted the helicopter to run entirely of electric power, and partly because the margin of lift for the rotors isn't very big. The main bearing is made out of a 1.25m structural fuselage with 2 stayputnik probes and a LOT of reaction wheels attached on a decoupler, and the tail rotor bearing is basically a one ended thermometer hinge made with upscaled parts for reliability. It's hard to explain without pictures. Hopefully I can find some fix and reupload this, because it's unusable right now. Sorry for the wall of text.
  17. It has about as much as a plane, but and is very stable hovering without input, so I don't think that's the problem. Though I think I removed some, I'll them back in when I can get to my computer. Thanks!
  18. Wow, that's incredible. It's like you got bored, took one bay of your Athena station and attached 2 rotors on it. I'all have to check out the craft file when I'm at my computer.
  19. Because it was a bargain, And you couldn't resist it at that price. Why are we nearing the shoe event horizon?
  20. MiffedStarfish To Become the ultimate pokemon trainer! tie them to laden and unladen SWALLOWS. Whit is yer name? Whit is yer quest? Whit, is the optimal Kerbin orbital ascent path for an reusable shuttle carrying 2 tons of payload?
