  1. how heavy is it? because your fleet is only 150 tons..
  2. well you see, my friend on the server had recently blown up my bop lander, and i wanted to retaliate. long story short, i spent about 3 hours talking to him while simoultaniously destroying his 7 launch base with a tank with 16 high caliber I-beams. @ShadowGoat Yeah, that sounds good. and maybe AFTER I win i have to blow it up?
  3. @ShadowGoat Nah, i dont think it would work. Dont ask how, but i have experience land battling on minmus in stock and it dosent really work.
  4. @DarkOwl57 so as not to risk corrupting me and shadowgoats saves, I would reccomend Copying your ksp, removing all mods on the copy, and battling us on that. It'll will also make crashes a lot rarer. shadowgoat i think we are doing it around minmus.
  5. I just realised that I cant count on the fingers of one hand how many EX-9 Eoses i can bring. Stealth Gunships FTW. I'll start set up now, darkowl as you only have one ship you might have to borrow some of shadowgoats designs.
  6. you and shadowgoat have fleets can weigh up too 150 tons each, while mine can weigh up too 250 tons each. and you are both fighting me.
  7. wait can we actually do 150, so both your fleets combined weigh 50 tons more than mine as opposed to 100? and yeah, 150/175 for each of you.
  8. actually, i think 200 is to much. dial it down to 175? And it is total fleet.
  9. You're on. Three way battle, Normal rules, You two have 4 ships each I have 6, 200 ton mass limit for you two, 250 for me. Minmus, I'll set up. Turns go: Me, Shadowgoat, Darkowl. And for the record, its called F-Tech. As for your question, any weapons which use heat to destroy enemys are banned, but Accelarator cannons are fine.
  10. This isn't really about the origin of the kerbals, but I think that the kraken is a poessed and distorted ancient kerbal, who discovered it on bop, as the skin colour is (I think) identical to kerbals. as for the origin of the species, I basically take the unimplemented Easter egg storyline as canon, as it's sort of official.
  11. But load range is only 2km. I won't, I have my own battle hardened ships.
  12. Has anyone tried out the Ares yet? I'd like some feedback. @DarkOwl57 would you mind actually giving me the craft file for testing purposes?
  13. ...is rated for rockets weighing up to and including 2miligrams. This Pokemon Gym...
  14. I've had an idea! I'm going to do nothing about copying, then when you reveal your super ship, I will innocently ask for the craft file, then run of with it, Heart of Gold style. I am also joking.
  15. I personally think actors wouldn't work. I think a cross between the styles of hatbat and nassualt and the cinematics made for uptdates would look great on a big screen, but I'm not sure a film would be a great thing. The story of the kerbals and game is underdeveloped because the focus is on orbital mechanics and simulating realistic space flight, which would be hard to represent in a film. kerbals verbally don't speak, except for some tutorial like writing dialogue, and the game in general was never meant to have lore, (which I'm not saying is a good thing) and I think the franchise would work a lot better in books and such, as stories written in fan works prove. TL;DR I don't think the franchise would work in a hour+ film, I think it would be better with overwatch-style animated shorts documenting momentous occasions and possibly comics.
  16. It's kinda hard to diagnose without screenshots, but I think a way to fix this would be to before launching, bring up the cheat menu, hack gravity to minimum, launch, wait for physics to ease, then slowly dial gravity back up to normal, then reset it. Also, I think This Mod improves physic easing. It could just be a bug with the craft, I've seen a ship which when loaded just spontaneously combusts for no reason. Hope this helps.
  17. I think Han was the first test for jabba, I remember seeing somewhere that before hyperdrives were invented, carbonite freezing was the method of interstellar travel, so it's been around a long time. And a lot. A lot of dresteroids.
  18. Umm. Yes? The reason it's copy and pasted is that I messaged this to a friend and then had the idea of this thread, and couldn't be bothered rewriting it. I have seen some videos on YouTube in my suggestions titled OMG! SNOKE IS A CLON OF ANKIN! And suchlike, but never actually watched any, it may be similar to some other theories, but that was unintentional.
  19. Hello! With the new episode 8 teaser out, and Star Wars once again being talked about, I'd like to know everyone's opinions and theories on Snoke's Identity. Here is my theory: At the end of episode three Vader is shown to have completely recovered in his new body. The film makes it seem like that happened in a few hours, but he was on the edge of dying, any operation like that would take a month at least. My theory is the emperor got scared of Vader dying midway through his "resurrection" and had a clone of anakin/Vader grown for "spare parts," and that clone is snoke. That's why they have near identical injuries, snokes being worse, as the parts of Vaders tissue too damaged to regrow were replaced and transplanted from an intact snoke, explaining why snokes injurys are missing parts of the tissue, while Vaders are oddly shallow and are a lighter colour of skin. You'll also notice that Vaders right cheek looks scarred, and slightly deformed, like it doesn't fit quite right, and a different colour, while snoke IS MISSING HIS CHEEK ON THAT SIDE. explaining the injuries. After the operation, snoke was probably frozen in carbonite somewhere on Corscant, in case Vaders injuries got worse and he needed new tissue, but they never did. A frozen snoke would then have been forgotten about after the destruction of the second Death Star, and found by a young Ben Solo, who unfroze him and trained with him in secret, believing snoke could make him more powerful, up until Kylo, under his influence destroyed the Jedi school and set the events of episode VII in place. Feel free to rip this to shreds, the ending part with Ben finding him is a bit iffy especially. Please post your theories here, or comment on mine or other people's, but please don't get agressive. For moderators, I checked everything under 2.2 In the rules, and I don't think this topic includes anything that would classify as something in that section, but please correct me if this is wrong.
  20. @Mycroft for your armour, were you testing against Stock or BDA weapons? If you mean stock, then I agree except that I would use half structual plates vertically, as it is higher impact tolerance. As for the stock missiles in vacuum, I don't think personal piloting makes a difference. If the missile is going 0.0ms relative velocity to the target, you can press target hold on sas, full throttle and hit perfectly on the centre of mass every time, which just isn't possible at long ranges with manual control. My go to missile does this, it is fired from 1.5km away, has an ant engine for fine tuning exact relative speed, impacts at around 350-400m/s and deals at least moderate damage to everything I've fired it at. (I've fired it at ALOT of ships, most of them weren't built by me) If you were talking about BDA combat, ignore this as I don't like modded combat and don't use mods.
  21. @Spartwo Damn. That's a shame. @DarkOwl57 looking forward to the pics.
