  1. The problem I just realized after posting the file is that the gimbal actually ruins the balance. I could disable it for you to use.
  2. I actually got the tilt-engine design from Hazard-ish. Also, the docking port would ruin the aerodynamics.
  3. If the AI can handle the low-speed supermaneuverability, yes. And few tips for the Orka: Remove TVC on Panthers, and do not try VTOL with the AI. Also forgot to add AI Flight Computer and Weapon Manager, but that is easy to add...
  4. Wow, Mach 2.7! And 40G's being, turning at speed? 3 guns don't really matter much, they'd just drain your ammo more quickly, and the hit-to-miss ratio will be higher than if you'd used only one gun. Best you put 6 AMRAAM's and 2 Sidewinders, the IRL requirement. And the craft, it is best to assign it to multirole. Just sayin'
  5. @dundun92 Some music would be nice. Also, the KA-17 Orka V/STOL attack fighter is now available on WaffleTech Military Export Station.
  6. Honestly, starting with LEO dogfights, scramjets with insertion and retro thrusters with reaction control nozzles would be sufficient. How to rendezvous? Time it right, since you only really have one orbital period (of enemy craft) to act onto.
  7. I could replace the AirplanePlus cockpit with the stock one, but it'll have to be rebalanced.

  10. I have a tilt-engine attack plane in the works, fully stock (except, maybe the AirplanePlus cockpit). Wanna have it?
  11. The Komet is the first rocket plane, and it didn't have throttleable engines. It lasts for about 8 minutes. P.S. I dunno why WT removed 2 minutes from the tank.
  12. Yes. I don't really want people to cheat the challenge by pulling down the limiter or testing at 50%.
  13. Correct. There is no point in building a Star Destroyer with our current technologies. The best we could do would be a VASIMR-powered probe fighter with 12 WWII HVAR's (Sidewinders are pretty much the same as that in space anyways) and maybe a 50 kW infrared laser powered by solar and fission energy. In fact, we could have 12 of those by 2055.
  14. Without Part-Switch, the subtypes are clipped together in one part. But having Part-Switch locks the toolbar. How do I get around it?
  15. 6 mins burn time. Only dedicated rocket engines, air-breathing rockets kill the spirit of the challenge.
  16. *sigh* Honestly, if I were to do a simple bombing run like that, I'd pilot it myself.
  17. Human pilots are still better than KerbalSAS.
