I'm excited for the new planets and colonisation. I've always enjoyed building rovers and overlanding on the various celestial bodies, new planets and moons look to be great for driving and admiring the scenery.

So, on my copy here is what I have. I have, obviously, Kopernicus. this is the 1.12.1 version according to the version file. Kopernicus requires Module Manager. My version is module manager 4.2.1. Pretty much all mods come with Module Manager included. Kopernicus also requires (and come with) Module Flight Intergrator. I also have INSTANTIATOR and CTTP installed. I believe these come within Event Horizon. Then I have Event Horizon itself. This is the 1.0 version for KSP 1.7 and up. I also have Module Manager Watchdog. This is for KSP 1.8. and up. Try these and see. Here are the links I could find. http://ksp.lisias.net/add-ons/ModuleManager/WatchDog/ If you want to use the wormholes, you need Kopernicus Expansion. Download it separately as the one included doesn't work on KSP 1.10 and above I believe. https://github.com/VabienArt/KopernicusExpansion-Continueder/releases/tag/beta6.1-1.10 Let me know if you are able to get it working. *I also have Making Less History. I don't think it's needed but I will just mention it just in case.

Orbit Portal Showroom [Show me your OPT Spaceplanes!]
Elidnas replied to JadeOfMaar's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
The DSESSRCP (The Dissesorcap ), Deep Space Exploring Single Stage Rover Carrying Plane. Very clumsy name. My do-it-all SSTO Spaceplane. Cargo bay has refuelling capabilities (Convertor-tron, Ore collection and storage), power generation (OPT 250 Tidal Force) and Ground Hangar (for rover storage). Tried faffing around with docking ports for securing the rover, but they seem very floppy so the Hangar mod is the best as it also helps with performance by unloading the docked vehicle from physics. VTOL is courtesy of 4 OPT Irradiance engines with 4 Aerodynamic OMS for stability. In pure VTOL mode it is relatively stable with only slight forward velocity while on a VTOL climb. Stable enough to attempt a landing on the VAB roof manually. The ship does have TCA for easier control and laziness. Main engines are a pair of Fusion Ram Drive (the S3B1ZzR) which, because it's dual mode, means that no other engines are needed and they have great ISP (probably overpowered, but I'm not complaining). Many things have been tweakscaled for aesthetic and performance reasons. The spaceplane uses a K-Body bulkhead profile so it is quite large. The spaceplane stands at 9.1m in height, 30m in width, and 35m in length. Weight is 234t fully laden, this includes 80t fuel, 15t ore and more than 15t cargo (the rover is only 3,28t). The rover it carries is 3.7m wide and 5.5m long on a Mk2 bulkhead profile. -
I love the humpback bodyshape. Unfortunately my humpback cargo ramp tail keeps spawning my ship in the air. Have you ever found a workaround for the tail part?

Hmm ok, I'm stumped. I had the same problem when I was porting my mods to 1.12 and it turned out that I had forgotten instantiator. I'm using the normal Kopernicus and not the one you listed. I'm also not using the wormholes as I have several planet systems and I couldn't port the wormhole system to the other star systems, so I just removed them from this mod to keep things consistent as I couldn't wormhole to other worlds.

This is GOLD. Just, wow. Great job.

Orbit Portal Showroom [Show me your OPT Spaceplanes!]

Final tests before heading to Moho. Planning to land everywhere and (where practical) use the rover to circumnavigate from pole to pole (I head the poles have some interesting terrain "features"). Have finally got the VTOL engines and RCS stable enough to land on top of the V.A.B -
'It is finally time. I can't believe it. It has been a roller-coaster. Testing and re-testing the Hippo, at low speeds, high speeds, low altitudes, high altitudes, to orbit and back. Even on top of the V.A.B There were even a few unscheduled "crash tests". This plane is a beast. It took everything that was thrown at it and had no complaints. In addition to that, we needed to test the Gundane rover as well. Up the mountains of Cocomor, crossing the waters of the east of Kelpogart towards the Iwahaki islands, submerged underwater testing its submersible abilities, to the top of the world at the poles just beyond Kasala, even tearing through the desert sands of Gerin at 198kph to reach the pyramids. There too, we managed to conduct a few "unscheduled crash tests", but fortunately no one was hurt (turns out 55m/s isn't a safe speed for uneven desert terrain ) But now, there are no more tests to do. Everything is ready. Moho awaits us. All that's left to do for Jesvin, Deswig, Maudock, Tivey, Gwendous, Loski, Haiby, Bilmon, Ribsby, Corbro, Sheleny, Maurigh, Podrey, Sikin, and Kathdun, is to report for duty.' Maudock Kerman, KWW astronaut recruit 00265.

[1.12.x] [Planet Pack] Minor Planets Expansion
Elidnas replied to Exo's Lab's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Seems to be working (at least at tracking station), no errors at startup. Minimal startup impact (my game seems to start in the same amount of time as it did before). Will be a while before I get to see them up close as I'm still on Moho- 275 replies

[1.12.x] [Planet Pack] Minor Planets Expansion
Elidnas replied to Exo's Lab's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Would this work with 1.7.3? I intend to try it out tomorrow but just wanted to find out if there would be any incompatibilities with running it on 1.7.3. OPM is already part of my game so I'm interested to see where each body lands up- 275 replies

What @linuxgurugamersaid. Kopernicus is version locked. Each version works only on its corresponding version of the game. Therefore unfortunately you'll never get it working if using conflicting versions, even if the dependencies are fine. This, as a rule, is the same for all planet packs since they all rely on kopernicus, the versions have to match.
-
I forgot to add INSTANTIATOR as another dependency. So, in essense this is what you would need to get it working. One of these should also include ModuleManager. If not, download the latest ModuleManager for your version. https://github.com/GrandProtectorDark/Event-Horizon/releases/tag/1.0 https://github.com/Kopernicus/Kopernicus/releases/tag/release-1.7.3-2 https://github.com/HappyFaceIndustries/KopernicusExpansion/releases/tag/0.2.0

I have been using it since November 2019 with no problems on 1.7.3. Using kopernicus 1.7.3-2. Might be something wrong with your install. Try check your dependencies (the correct kopernicus version as well as kopernicus expansion). Ensure you are using the correct Event Horizon version 1.0 NOT 1.0-E. https://github.com/GrandProtectorDark/Event-Horizon/releases Your Gamedata should look like this -CTTP -EventHorizon -INSTANTIATOR -Kopernicus -KopernicusExpansion -ModularFlightIntegrator Squad [Any other mod you want to use alongside this] (though I suggets you get the planet pack working first before adding any more mods) -ModuleManager

The army was deployed earlier today in Johannesburg. We'll only have essential services running from Thursday.

My country to be placed on lock-down from midnight 26th March.

@Pds314's map has been my actual playthrough map since 1.3.1.
-
I can't choose my continent (Africa) as it shows that the country field is required. Can't choose country as my country isn't included in the list. So, I can't participate in the poll. Also, North and South AmeriCa should have "C" and not "K" I think.

"There has been much excitement here at the complex. After being told we would not be testing the big rover yet as the engineers were making some modifications, many of us were left very disappointed. Everybody had wanted to have a go at this thing. I mean, who wouldn't? 8 wheels of All-Terrain monstrosity was enough to make me at least, very very excited. However, we couldn't take it out as yet. There are final static tests which are being conducted by the propulsion testing team. The rumours going around seem to indicate that they are adding extra crew capacity. I hope that's true, barreling down the landscape at 200km/h alone isn't as much fun as having the rest of your team throwing up cheering you on from the rear seats. I look forward to it. We have finally been given our brief. I don't know if I'm excited or scared, or both. Our mission (I think there will be 10 of us) will be to go to every solid body that the orbital telescopes can find. It seems that there was a secret mission that the public did not know about where there were probes sent to map every place that had been found. They found much, much more than they thought the system contained. And they are not done. The bright areas in the sky we tend to see at night are actually stars, actual stars close enough to travel to. We don't yet know if they have planets around them, the probes have not yet reached their destinations. We will not wait though, we will start out for the places we know in the hope that by the time we are ready for the other places, they will be mapped enough for exploration. We have seen the vehicle that will take us to the stars. I have to say, at first, I didn't have much respect for it. For one, that name, iMvubu. Why would they name it that? This is supposed to go where none have gone before. The name "Hippo" certainly doesn't convey that. Hopefully it grows on me. The naming committee really has no imagine (or too much imagination, I really don't see "hippo" when I look at this). At least not many people are as multilingual as I am and might not notice that our plane is called "The Hippo".Also, this thing looks like any tourist plane around and doesn't seem like it can even get to space, let alone to other planets. We were to leave KSC early in the morning and head to the Dessert Airfield in Gerinia to test how the plane behaved in the air. I couldn't take many pictures in-flight as I was piloting but the flight recorder was able to capture the whole flight for analysis. Boarding and Loading (Mission control didn't want to show us the contents of the cargo bay) As soon as we were loaded and ready to leave, mission control surprised us with the best news. In the cargo bay was the actual Gundane Mk2 rover ready to be tested in the hot sands of the desert. We are to drive the rover toward the ancient statues while the plane refuels at the airfield. I couldn't resist, I had to take a picture before we left. I had to stand on the top of the cockpit to take this shot. Ready to bank toward our destination I have to say, this "hippo" thing carries a lot of speed. We were not expecting to be so fast. We left Kelpogart just after dawn and landed at the airfield some time before dawn. It was so dark I was only able to take 1 usable picture of the plane landed. Refuelling at the Dessert Airfield. Maudock will be so jealous. She couldn't come as she was training for the inevitable orbit test. I think there might be a a few more tests before we go into orbit with the spaceplane. We might go for cold weather testing next. And the Gundane needs to be re-tested in the water after its modificatons. I cant wait for our next mission." Kathdun Kerman, KWW astronaut recruit 00268.

Oh @zer0Kerbal you're just the best. Thank you for this. Testing on my 1.7.3 install. Please have a version backdated to 1.7.3 when you update. The new versions don't like my potatoe laptop, I keep getting Unity crashes at startup so sticking with 1.7.3 until I get a new laptop.

Testing my SSTO. VTOL thrusters on the underbelly. Carries a 10t amphibious rover in the cargo bay. Extremely short takeoff.
