  1. AFAIK, you cannot buy KSP as a DVD. I might be wrong, though.
  2. Interesting spellling, Bras Ton
  3. It's also related to how KSP attaches parts. Think of a tree. Make sure that tree doesn't have branches that join. Think of the places the branches split and the ends of the branches as parts and the middle of the branches as attaching to that part.
  4. Yeah. The way that you've constructed your craft means that the line of pieces are connected to the piece you're trying to take off. You can take off that line, flip it horizontally and reattach it to the other side. Afterwards, you can take off just that part.
  5. It appears that the image isn't loading. Can you please try to reupload it?
  6. Here is the 10m from the SpaceY Pack. It only holds oxidiser. I would like a Launch Escape Tower.
  7. I revert to launch. It takes me back to the beginning of human civilization. I manipulate the past enough to change the word hill in the english language into double bacon cheeseburger and visa versa. I go to McDonalds. My 100% not fake hill.
  8. If a child threatens another child with harassment, even if the other child is bullying them, would you consider that child innocent?
  9. Does the mode really matter if the end is just sandbox? Career makes it so you have to gain money and science to get to sandbox. Science needs science. And sandbox starts that way. Personal preference? Eh. They all have things that I like and dislike.
  10. The burn time does not account for the two stages. And the extra calculations needed to figure out when to burn would probably not be worth the minuscule delta-V difference (Provided it isn't something like rendezvous which may make the calculations less useless, but still useless). Just burn somewhat earlier, or dump the first stage.

  12. Try the strategies. One of them can turn science into funds, and another turns them into Rep. And going interplanetary is pretty much late career. There are mods that add extra parts and extra nodes, but some of the parts might not interest you. If you're just interested in unlocking nodes, use the Community Tech Tree. Some of the nodes have a fairly high unlock cost, and it keeps the stock tree "mostly" intact. Although you'll need part mods for new parts.
  13. Active SAS can create wobbles. So can RCS. Turn them both off to see if it continues wobbling.
  14. Fair enough. One thing I would add to this list of packs is a scuba-diving pack. With some ballast and a weaker but fueless EVA pack. Underwater bases here I come!

  16. That would be an interesting idea for a story. A kid receives a letter claiming that its from the future. At the beginning they protect it like a baby, and treat it like a bible, believing everything within it. As they age, they lose trust in the letter and listen to it less. However, they encounter a terrible fate that was predicted by the letter and could have been predicted. Finally, when they come to the same point in time the letter was from, they send their own letter back, hoping their next timeline's self listens to the advice closer.
  17. I place enough dirt on all the hills in the universe to turn them into mountains. The now hill-less universe.
  18. A kid has both his parents killed by his grandfather. They both are reincarnated as animals and meet with the kid but die again. Crazy entrepreneur sets up the hunger games to find an heir with some kids that will blatantly lose and the kid that was always going to win.
  19. The Jetpack is waaayy to situational. Why should I use a limited capacity fuel-draining version of ladders (although it would be good to have a back up measure). Storage packs would be a novelty at best, but could be implemented in a mod if a base system for adding and using new packs are added. Comms array... Why? Just go back to your ship to transmit data. I'm not replacing my EVA pack just to avoid adding one antenna to my craft. Or forbid, storing the experiments in the capsule itself. But I do think that EVA and crew reports should just auto-store. And the wingsuit... [insert image of paramotor] But the addition of extra packs to choose from could be fun. And the Jetpack is a solid idea, just tone it down to only Kerbin gravity strength. And only use EVA Fuel. What we're missing though is more Kerbal usefulness. Their only useful point is for ISRU with engineers (and marginal utility in labs with scientists, but pilots are still left in the dark), but they could do so much more, instead of being second and heavier to probes.
  20. Please note the OP is talking about the mod RemoteTech, not the stock Commnet.
  21. If you do want to land a tall lander, then be sure to land on somewhere flat. Even a slight tilt can be bad for your lander if it's tall. Fat landers are better in every aspect, though. Except for atmospheres (If you want to return). Duna's is usually not strong enough to disrupt ascent. If you are landed on Jool, you are having a bad day and will not go to Kerbin today (or anywhere else). The only times it matters in the stock system is on Eve and Laythe, but you can use parachutes to land and keep your craft upside up. And if you're landing on Kerbin... why? TL;DR: Fat landers are the way to go.
  22. In the beginning, there was Kerbin (And the myterious light source). This light source became The Sun. Then there was the Mun in 0.12. Many players ventured to it and back. Then there was Minmus, the newest moon of Kerbin in 0.15. Players flocked to it and its minty-green low gravityness. Suddenly, in 0.17, many new planets were added. There was Moho, the innermost, hottest planet. There was also the (Mostly) inescapable Eve and its asteroid moon, Gilly. Beyond Kerbin, there was Duna and Ike, the first planet many players visit after exploring Kerbin. Next in line was Jool and its 4 moons. After this in 0.18, there was the addition of Pol and later Eeloo, the furthest planet. And then there was Dres. Dres was in a bad situation. It wasn't in a hard-to-reach spot like Moho and Eeloo. It didn't have absurdly low gravity, like Gilly. It didn't have absurdly high gravity like Tylo or Ike. It didn't have weird pyramid creepy things like Pol. It didn't have real moons. It wasn't a moon. It was unremarkable. Unremarkably grey. The only redeeming factor is that it has an asteroid belt, making it a good spot for hunting Magic Boulders, but not much else. Sure, you can make an asteroid base, but you can do a much more convenient (in making and using) asteroid base at Kerbin. And that's why- Wait. What planet are we talking about again?
