MY GOD, this mod is beautiful, as I would like the whole game to be in the same parameters, however I only have a sadness, can my computer can run in this same definition? DD: It seems too heavy for a simple computer, it seems to consume an unbelievable amount of RAM, even in my case with 16GB of Ram and almost 100 mods installed...

I recommend deleting the parts that you don't need/won't use, as the mod is quite modular in that regard; for example, you can delete the folder EarlyRockets under GameData\Bluedog_DB\Parts if you don't want those.

If I may throw out a quick wish list:

     - ETS-style improved Saturn V hardware, e.g. S-IC, S-II tanks with orange foam.
     - Stretched S-IC and S-II tanks
     - RS-25 and RS-68 engines
     - More Titan proposals, like Barbarian!

    -snip-

Interestingly enough, just a few thread pages back there was a little discussion about both orange foam S-IC/II and extensions for them. On Barbarian, there are already a few parts on BDB's master github page, though it is still incomplete. There is already an analogue to the RS-25 in stock KSP, though if you want more variations I'd suggest Cormorant Aeronology or SSTU. The latter also contains an RS-68, and an analogue can be found in Nertea's CryoEngines. It's great you've found this mod, and happy launchings!

I basically modeled/textured myself into a hole with them. Because they have the ribbed intertanks at the top and bottom of the part, it would look very weird if an extension tank was just stuck on top. Does anyone have feelings on that or ideas for a solution?

There's the option of texture switching or pulling an RD and having no ribbing or simply making an entirely new part (i.e normal S-IC, then a stretched S-IC) similar to the patch in 'Bluedog_DB_Extras' but without a distorted texture (smooth extension on top of an S-IC w/o ribbing).

Some more screens I took yesterday that I forgot to upload... the white first stage (ie, covered in ice as it would be when flown) isn't really possible without duplicating the 4K texture sheet the Atlas V uses, but it's kinda nice to look at... the Centaur Tanks *will* have switching.

    *snip*

That looks amazing! I can hardly wait for release. And will the other 1.875m centaur/inon tanks be receiving a retexture?

I've heard there are lots of cool new parts, and there is the really cool mission maker (which i am extremely interested in). But is it worth $14.99? I have $20 in steam money and was wondering if this at all would be worth it. Heck, is it even good? Would it even be worth picking it up at a steam sale?

Probably not, as the other person has mentioned the same parts can be found in mods (and many more historical parts). Mission builder is quite interesting, though I'd suggest watching a few youtube videos on it. It probably would be best to pick it up on a steam sale, if you do decide to buy it.

Firstly, I recently came across this mod and I must say thanks to CobaltWolf for the massive collection of parts. Absolutely loving it.
That being said, my apologies if this has been covered elsewhere in the thread, but I searched and didn't seen anything, so I'm asking now:

I'm using Nerta's Cryogenic Engines/Tanks modset and I noticed that the Bluedog mod has the Inon series of LH2/O cryo tanks, which is great (because they look good and are the right size for a rocket I'm building). However, it appears that the Inon series don't have the "Enable Cooling" button that Nerta's do, so how does one prevent boiloff on the Inon series of tanks? Seems kinda critical, seeing as a mere Minimus mission would result in a full boiloff halfway through...

The BDB fuel tanks do not have a default cooling option,  so you may just have to deal with boiloff or use LFO engines. You can try writing a MM patch to enable cooling, though.

I agree. But in theory separation of the parts by specific rockets brings it's own issues. I.E. Atlas spans over 40 years of rockets and they are all very different. Also, Generational packs work better for noobies who don't know all of the actual rockets. And if someone wants to say recreate the Gemini missions, they need both the Atlas, and the Titian.  So I think three packs would work best.

    1. Early Space Program (50s-60s) Vanguard - Mercury - Gemini
    2. Lunar Missions/Space Exploration (70s-80s) Apollo - Skylab...etc.
    3. Modern/ Mars Probes (90s-Present) Atlas V - Delta III...etc.

I know this is all speculation but I figured I would put in my 2cents

Or do it like Tantares, and split it into spacecraft and rockets. Though the issue is mostly non-existent at this point, I hope that will change for the better.
