  1. http://www.cubiccreations.net/lunarwars/ Orbiter is best known here for Orbiter 2010's competition, but they also released games in 2016, 2006, and 2000. You can play the original 2000 orbiter here: https://www.orbithangar.com/orbiter.php. Also, if the number pattern continues, we'll have Orbiter 2020 soon!
  2. Note: This does not count as necroposting because the subject is still relevant. I got it in 1.2.2, though it switched between 666,666 and 111,111.
  3. This thread is for compiling really old sites from around the web. (Note: does not include popular sites that were founded in the 90s, so Google doesn't count) http://www.spelljammer.org/ 1995 dnd site. http://freefall.purrsia.com/ Webcomic started in 1997, still ongoing. 3198 comic strips. http://cerulean.st/absurdnotions/ Webcomic started in 1989, ended in 2007, now back after 11 years! Possibly oldest webcomic. milk.com Website established in 1994, owner refused to sell domain. And http://musefanpage.com/blog/, a forum for a children's science magazine. Now the forum is mostly abandoned, but some of the now grown up scientists post about their work their.

  5. In the apollo lunar lander, they would measure fuel in terms of seconds at maximum throttle remaining, so it makes sense why one would make that mistake.
  6. Kraken Open A Cold One With The Boys
  7. Orbiter is 2001 A Space Odyssey, KSP is The Martian.
  8. The last one (other than Jool atmosphere, but I'm not that crazy)
  9. Literally this entire trailer: How much inaccuracy can you fit into a 90 sec trailer?! 1. Why is the expanding sun making it colder? 2. The sun won't expand for billions of years. 3. I don't want to know how these "Earth Engines" work. 4. Isn't it going to be very cold as the Earth drifts through interstellar space? 5. How are they watching rockets take off from so close?

    Is Space Race on hiatus?

See @Ultimate Steve's response and mine underneath it.

      Ultimate Steve

It is @qzgy's turn, I guess he's taking a bit of a break, but I anticipate finishing it at some point.

Yeah, I've just been busy with school and stuff. I do want to finish it. Maybe I'll finish the current turn this weekend? No promises.

  13. Welcome to the forum! Electical generation on Venusian blimps has two possibilities: Solar Panels covered in FEP Teflon for protection against heat and acid, or wind power. To generate wind power though, you would have to anchor the blimp to the ground, which would be hard in the acid, heat, and constant stress.
  14. Most of which are bots, or have no posts, or asked one question then left. Probably less than 5,000 with more than 50 rep. If you get rid of the non-active users, it probably goes down to less than a thousand. Also, even among active users, Zipf's law would suggest that 20% of the active users make 80% of the posts, which makes sense(most of the people on this thread are the same 500+ rep people).
  15. Does anyone else remember watching this movie when they were younger?
  16. It works great, but I can't seem to use the text tool. I can get a narrow textbox to appear, but none of my words show up, and whenever I type most characters, it shortcuts to another tool.
  17. I'm working on a book where the protagonists fly a ship thats a gas core BFR.
  18. The book was a one way flight, but he published a paper after the book with the possibility of return.
  19. You could have a smaller aperture and a giant lens farther out.
