  1. And? Assuming the game is still in development they are clearly banking on console sales so it matters little what happens here. Wait or don’t, your choice.
  2. People can already be at their limit and continue waiting. This isn’t a tire being filled with air. Edit: Or rather I should say people aren’t a tire being filled with air that are just going to explode.
  3. Why would anyone need to be “ready” for that? That’s such a strange thing to ask them.
  4. Reasonable prediction given currently known facts.
  5. But it doesn't. It is pretty self explanatory that they aren't going to hire more people for a location after firing a bunch of people from said location for downsizing reasons.
  6. That is more than likely the reality of the situation. For sure it is obvious that those cutting costs don’t give a excrements about the impacts down the line.
  7. It is going to be a very long wait. I personally won’t believe the game isn’t dead until I see a 0.x release that comes in anytime mid July or later with follow up patches.
  8. If someone is a fanboy they already bought it. Perhaps you meant "consumers"?
  9. Maybe that day job he mentioned? Yeesh.
  10. I laughed at this pretty hard. Apparently not being an ass is considered as not being critical.
  11. Eh? Like 90% of this forum is criticizing the game. You probably just didn’t notice because it wasn’t laden with curse words and personal attacks.
  12. Given that they have acknowledged that people are (or rather were, given the news) working on a 2nd unannounced game, seems more likely to be related to that.
  13. That office closure is certainly of interest although doesn't mean anything in and of itself unless someone here has actual knowledge of all their work locations in Seattle.
  14. Not to mention it allows them to rotate people out. I.E. have half the team working on bugs for modules they worked on, while the other half develops new features. Then they swap and the people who worked on the new features are now bug squashing on the things they are familiar with while the previous bug squashers go and builds new things. Prevents burnout both mentally and creatively.
