Played only number 2. loved every bit of it except chapters 6 and 7. I spent almost 2/3rds of my time playing the game on those damned enrichment spheres.
Old Aperture is definitely interesting. Lotta messing around with gels. However, potato GLaDOS and generally the backstory makes 6 and 7 great. However, the only test I have physically never been able to complete ever has been the long jump in 6
