  1. Why not attach 2 flaps for simulating the canards and give them a better test for drag and landing?
  2. Is that the F1? Also: How much does "aerospace grade 304 stainless steel" cost? $3 per KG sounds too cheap.
  3. I suggest asking here. And regarding how to upload logs, use dropbox or drive. Oh, and did you install module manager? Korpenicus wont work without its dependencies. Modular flight integration, or something like that, i believe
  4. Im guessing a sheet of stainless steel, as 1100C is by no means a reentry temperature.
  5. Your unity engine is ancient. And do check mod ccompatability with CKAN. And where is module manager?
  6. Probably a lack of speed, or the ai is set to turn away and strafe. Is the target on the surface? Also, reduce control authority and increase damping to mitigate random rolling.
  7. Sounds nice. Space is very clean, so as long as they keep the vehicle in a clean room, it should be fine. Maybe they will add some paint to protect it. Is it just me or is that a heat shield?
  8. Elon comes in with his second-generation "fire breather" not-flanethrowers. Can run on methane/GOX, TEATAB/GOX, N2O4/UDMH, or practically any rocket fuel. He also designs a jetpack and spacesuit that runs on these fuels. Shotwell comes in with a sandpaper and a hammer. For cold welding. Sandpaper removes oxide layer, hammer to apply pressure.
  9. But they can do repairs in space. Easily. With cold welding.
  10. Solar eclipse: nothing so special. Lunar eclipse: earth blocking the Sun.
  11. They sent a spy to untie the weights. Jokes aside, do you think the non ablative heat shield/meteoroid shield will work? And i have seen sources where elon estimates the heat at 1750K. How do they do it?
  12. I guess somebody has a plan to take over spaceX and its technologies once he got wrecked. Might be Shotwell, might be USAF, might be BO, might be NASA. Definitely NOT china and russia.
  13. How about aerodynamic stress? Perhaps their metallurgy team is too busy on starship?
  14. Max Q is more shockwaves along the rocket than being blown off course. Plus, the tanks, engines and avionics havent been added, so it isnt heavy, and the CoM is high.
