I did delete GameData/TweakScale before updating, as I read on issue 34 on the TweakScale Github page... subsequently I even deleted the contents of GameData/__Local and 999_Scale_Redist.dll as well, and replaced them with copies from the latest stable release. Tried again, to no avail. Also no, I did not try the beta... should I? One other thing I did notice, though, is that I'm using ModuleManager.4.1.3.dll, even though the latest stable TweakScale release contains ModuleManager.3.1.1.dll. Should I be using ModuleManager.3.1.1.dll? Edit: I tried adding ModuleManager.3.1.1.dll in addition to ModuleManager.4.1.3.dll in the GameData folder, and now B9 Part Switch is giving me strong warnings (and I still got the same 16 FATAL issues from TweakScale), so it looks like that's not a particularly viable approach.

I've encountered 16 of those FATAL Tweakscale errors- all of them related to NearFutureSolar. The main issue is that when I was attempting to load my save file after updating to KSP 1.9.1, I was warned that one of my active vessels was missing a part- a solar panel from NFSolar. After looking into it, I found this issue on the Github page for NFSolar, and by following those directions, I solved my problem... but I created a new one. Any advice would be much appreciated! Thanks, this is still quite helpful. I'm doing some pretty intense work to get this thing up & running in 1.9, and I'm open to save/config file editing in Notepad++ ... to be honest I've come this far, so I figured, why not? I appreciate the input. Edit: Parts can be found here for anybody else running into similar issues.

I'm having a rather odd issue... Today I decided to update all of my mods to the KSP 1.9.1 versions and update KSP to 1.9.1, but since the original Infernal Robotics is only available up to KSP 1.7, I switched to the forked beta version from meirumeiru on Github. But when I attempt to load my save file I am asked if I'm sure I want to load the save, because several active vessels are missing certain parts. Some of these were from NearFutureSolar, and I found this issue on the Github page for that particular mod, and I solved the problem using the advice found there. However, one of these missing parts is called dockingwasher.stdScaleable, which is from the original (non-forked) Infernal Robotics... and I can't seem to find it anywhere. Can anybody point me in the right direction here? I just want to load my save file in the latest version of KSP, but now I'm having to hunt down multiple missing parts from multiple mods.

[1.3.1] Docking camera (KURS) (14.feb.18)
psychonaut25 replied to DennyTX's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I realize this mod hasn't been updated for the latest version of KSP, but I still thought I'd point this out... I recently switched from KSP 1.3.1 to 1.7.3 (on Windows 7 Professional x64), and I've been slowly but surely updating my mods to the most recent/compatible ones, and I discovered a major bug in Docking Camera KURS in 1.7.3 which interferes with the orbital mechanics. During rendezvous, just as I reach my closest approach to my target craft, the target craft's orbit changes dramatically, to more-or-less match the orbit of the current vessel, thereby reducing our relative velocity to close to zero. My closest approach is also altered, and usually lengthened to about 2.1 kilometers, and the target craft's periapsis usually drops to several Km below that of my active vessel. I believe it's related to the target craft entering physics range. I had assumed this was a problem with the BetterBurnTime mod, but when I talked to Snark in the forums, I was informed that it was basically impossible for BetterBurnTime to cause this... and another forum user came along and pointed out that they had experienced this same problem, and had narrowed it down to Docking Camera KURS. So, I uninstalled KURS and indeed, it did solve the problem. The only issue now is that I have several saved crafts in the VAB which have onboard cameras (a part which I do value quite a bit), and I have to re-install KURS, open each craft file and remove the onboard camera, and then uninstall KURS in order to actually perform any orbital rendezvous. For now, I'm just going to keep KURS uninstalled, but it would be great to see it updated for KSP 1.7.3 without this bug. Demo Video KSP.log -
I found it! It's actually in the settings for my savegame, but I only have one, so I'm okay with that. But it's extremely helpful, so I really appreciate you pointing that out! Thanks for such detailed help on that. Well I'll be damned... yep, I removed Docking Camera KURS and it looks like the problem has been resolved! Thank you so much for pointing that out!

Thanks. That does make more sense now. I think my problem was that I had installed updated AVP manually (trying to move away from CKAN... it's sometimes more trouble than it's worth) but my AVP textures had been installed via CKAN. I suspect uninstalling the textures via CKAN and then manually installing them is what solved the problem for me.

I'm having a rather unique problem ever since I updated to from KSP 1.3.1 to 1.7.3 recently. I updated to the most recent version of Better Burn Time, and began to experience a weird symptom during rendezvous. Just as I reach my closest approach to my target craft, the target craft's orbit changes dramatically, to more-or-less match the orbit of the current vessel, thereby reducing our relative velocity to close to zero. My closest approach is also altered, and usually lengthened by several kilometers. I can't confirm that this is a problem with Better Burn Time, but I have a suspicion that it is, because it always seems to happen as soon as those final three dots to the right of my navball vanish. Does anybody else have any experience with this problem, or a solution? Demo Video 1 Demo Video 2 KSP.log On another note... I read the main post which points out that after 1.5, the navball functionality was improved for maneuver nodes, and so the extra functionality from Better Burn Time was removed. Pardon the noob question, but... I don't notice the difference in navball functionality when timing maneuver burns, could anybody enlighten me on that?

Well, I'm still at a loss here... I removed BoulderCo and AVP still isn't working in KSP 1.7.3. Anybody have any suggestions? KSP.log Edit: I got it working. Manually downloaded the zip files for EVE, AVP, and AVP textures, and then copied their contents to a folder on my hard drive (not my GameData folder), and then cut+pasted them into my GameData folder... and voila, it's working!
-
I'm very confused... Environmental Visual Enhancements is one of the dependencies, and EVE requires a config either from BoulderCo or from Stock Visual Enhancements, but neither BoulderCo nor SVE are compatible with Astronomer's Visual Pack? How is it even supposed to work then? I admit, I only recently updated all the way from KSP 1.3.1 to 1.7.3, and AVP was working just fine for me in 1.3.1 (even with both BoulderCo and SVE installed), but I can't seem to get it to work in 1.7.3 at all, no matter what I try. I'm running heavily-modded KSP 1.3.1 x64 on Windows 7 x64 via Steam. Lately, I've noticed that often when trying to switch from a vessel to the tracking station, the space center, or even going from the tracking station to trying to "fly" a vessel, the game crashes. More often than not, Steam also crashes. Yet, I don't seem to be producing any log files, so I have no information about what caused the crash. Does anybody know why this is? I do have some old log files from game crashes, just not the recent ones.
