I got into the habit of calling every first release release 1.0 lol
-
dawg they made a modding subform for release 1.0 and expect us not to use it?
-
Is planet modding possible in KSP2? I heard somewhere that the planet files are all .json, and I don’t think anyone has experimented with it yet. If anyone has any information do tell since I might attempt to port my planet packs

[1.12.x] Lazarus - Stay | My Final KSP Mod
Heliocentric replied to Heliocentric's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
After 18 hours I’m unsure how far uploaded it is. At around 5 hours the bar had not moved at all, so I may have to resort to using a mobile hotspot to bump up the speeds. Either way it should hopefully be ready to release soon -

Currently uploading to space dock. Due to the upload speeds my internet has, it might not be for another couple hours that release happens. You may begin your hype train regardless -

[1.12.x] Lazarus - Stay | My Final KSP Mod
Heliocentric replied to Heliocentric's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Scatterer and EVE bugs have been quarantined in a sense, slowly readding files to find the exact one causing the issue If all goes to plan release possibly tonight -
[1.12.x] Lazarus - Stay | My Final KSP Mod
Heliocentric replied to Heliocentric's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Update on release: will be this week, have to update some scatterer configs since some files are so old that they came out before scatterer was redone -

A final breath of life into Lazarus as my modding chapter comes to a close. Lazarus - Awakenings was the very first fully fledged planet pack that I released not too long ago. Despite it only being my first, I have actually been modding for over 2 years now. Its getting tiring, and starting to feel more like a chore than an interest or hobby. School is ramping up alongside this, and I don't want to spend my free time working on something that will only feel like more suffering. KSP became a game I only play when modding because of this, my interest in rockets as a whole is dwindling after reality set in about the person Elon Musk really is. I never worshipped him like most, but seeing someone who started my interest dive down a path of corruption hurt. A lot. With KSP2's release nearing, I'm ready to retire from the KSP community as a whole. With one final mod - S.T.A.Y. S.T.A.Y is the final chapter of Lazarus. All unreleased content, experimental features, unseen worlds, old stellar neighbors, and a copy of the first ever system I have ever created in KSP. Because S.T.A.Y includes the core features of Lazarus, screenshots will not be provided. Instead view the above forum page for preview images of already released features. Support for this mod ends at release. Sorry to disappoint, but no bug fixes can be issued. The majority of this planet pack is unfinished content that has built up over the years. Awakenings is what made it through the filter, and if you want to experience Lazarus as it was meant to be, I recommend installing that instead. Download of this mod is currently being worked on. Upload times + compiling the pack together will take at least a day from when this page is put up. Thank you to those who have supported me since I started modding in 2021. And for those I had met before modding... [Specifically 2020] Lets just say the dictionary does not contain enough words to describe the terrible feelings that all of you put me through*. *Matt Lowne's Discord Server is not affiliated with the above statement (or is it?) My final forum post. My final mod. Thank you, KSP. Heliocentric, signing off for the last time.

Release 2: Adrift Development Update #1 It’s about time I show off what’s been under the hood in the upcoming second installation of Lazarus. Some Hungry Alien Life Recently, I picked up the book Project Hail Mary and instantly ideas flooded my mind. If astrophages can grow on the sun, why wouldn’t they grow on other stars as a galactic species? Introducing the Elani Anomaly: A steady stream of Astrophages slowly leading a system to its demise. How exciting, more bug reports! New list of current known bugs: - Aurora on gas giants not lined up with tilt properly - Interstellar system EVE configs not functioning - Gala’s low resolution clouds - KSC Extended is not compatible with Lazarus Discord: Greatest Lazarus News Outlet All of this and more content related to Adrift is available in the discord server, which I recommend if you’re interested in frequent updates, Lazarus’s story. This is also where you will get support the quickest as I check it the most often. Click below to join!

The 5 installations are only going to be additions to the pack that add on to the story, and/or add new destinations. Almost all systems that are coming in the future are constructed in some form but are just lacking the polish. The course of Lazarus's life is from now until KSP 2 releases, it took me a year and a half to get Awakenings done because it's the bulk of the mod, basically the entire core system, master files, visuals, etc, and it was also a process of continuing to improve until I reached a result I am confident enough to release (which is a lot higher of a bar than you might think)
