Made the thread easier to read and added ATLAS -
Am I crazy? Cause the TITAN series is very stupid, each iteration has more fuel and boosters... Thats it... AND IT SOMEHOW WORKS! Each iteration capable of lifting 250 more tons than its previous, the TITAN series will revolutionize the SSTO lifting field of technology! The TITAN booster we see here is Koios, capable of lifting 1250 tons into orbit!

Galactic's Exploration and Colonization.Co Welcome to Galactic's Exploration and Colonization.Co, we are a company specialized in the construction of motherships, landers and boosters. Although we are quite renown for our motherships, especially purple rock and red spice. (Sadly, they are not for sale ;P) Currently, this thread will be barren for now except for our renown TITAN class booster and our Gargantua class rover. So feast your eyes on them for now, but please stick around for more! TITAN CLASS SSTO LIFTERS Our TITAN class SSTO Lifters are immensely large SSTO lifters capable of delivering 500 tons or more to LKO, currently our most powerful booster (The Koios) can lift 1250 tons to LKO, but plans for a 2250 ton lifter are underway! The TITAN class SSTO Lifters are outfitted with inflatable heat shields, parachutes and large solar arrays to help power it during flight, help it survive reentry and slow it down during ascent. The only thing you would spend for the TITAN class SSTO lifters is fuel and fuel only. Currently, we have only 1 TITAN booster, the ATLAS, on sale. TITAN SSTO Lifter ATLAS SSTO Lifter PROMETHEUS SSTO LIFTER Interstellar class Rovers The interstellar class is probably our smallest class for rovers. However, it features some of our largest rovers yet, of which the largest is the Gargantua rover (currently.) The main purpose for rovers in the Interstellar class is for large scale transportation across interplanetary, and potentially interstellar colonies. Currently, only 1 rover exists in the Interstellar class. But more will come! Gargantua Rover

No images for now... But something big is coming... Really... Big...

A Shadow looms over Kerbin... Bigger, Better and stronger than its brother, the Red Spice... And with a more hostile world in its sites... Welcome... Purple Rock... Ahhhhh yea! Due to the approaching Eve window (I'm pretty sure you guys would of figured out which world its going to by now, thanks to its name "Purple Rock" and the fact its going to a "more hostile world".) The KSC has designed and launched the successor of the Titan SSTO Lifter, the lifter could carry 200 tons easily into LKO and of which has transferred the Purple Rock into a 100Km x 103Km orbit. The Purple rock has the following changes and improvements over its brother, the red spice: Instead of extremely high fuel burning, yet high trust giving vector engines. The purple rock uses 6 efficient aerospike engines to transfer it to any world it needs, well any worlds in the inner system except Moho of course. 2 large cargo bays instead of one, as well as the cargo bays hosting 2 SR docking ports instead of one. Meaning 4 craft can potentially dock to the mothership. Eve instead of Duna, duh. 4700 m/s of delta V, which is nearly 1000 m/s more than the red spice could carry when carrying nothing but its own mass. The solar array are not at the sides, rather they stick out in a sort of dragon fly like formation. Due to this there will ALWAYS be a solar array touching the sunlight. Giving it power all the time. More fuel and oxidizer. Larger size. Better design, the engines are not in some weird sticking out parts. Better cre- *orbital laser cannons start to point in my direction* IM SORRY I MEANT A DIFFERENT CREW! Anyways, lets have a look at the red spice and purple rock side by side shall we

Nuclear engine only to orbit ( and beyond )
Planetace replied to nuclear_turkey's topic in KSP1 Challenges & Mission ideas
Huh... Neat... I misjudged you my friend then! Go forth and conquer the stars! -
A new HQ has been set up! Jebediah and his Company needed a HQ to run their operations, as well as provide as living space, for their employees and Company to gain profit. The HQ has 4 docking ports, all nearly perfectly aligned with the Gargantua! I hope to get 3 more Gargantua class Rovers over to the HQ, then things can pick up pace! And speaking of Jebediah... Yep, had to get the legendary kerbal himself. The stuntman, the most explody kerbal! Welcome the kerman himself! JEBEDIAH! *A invisible crowd roars in applaud as Jebediah's craft ignites its backside in silent deceleration. The craft attempts 10 quicksave/quickload landings in complete darkness before I got too angry, in turn making me cheat the landing using hyperedit. Then waiting till it was daytime and replicating the landing to pay for my cheaty method.*

Meanwhile, In our Universe! Soooo yea, the Gargantua (the large rover.) Had strut deficiency, AKA it didn't have enough structs and thus it exploded when it jumped a little bit upwards every time I quickload (because you know, wheels always phase through the terrain for some reason). Instead of doing an annoying mission, I decided to pull the good old "The exploding rover was from a parallel Universe, this is the real universe!" And so here we are...

Landed Ship loading improvments
Planetace replied to Planetace's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Yes it is... It doesnt work... -
Im bloody annoyed on the system on loading landed objects, "Oh got a big rover, dont worry Mate we will make its ******* wheels clip into the terrain and cause a shockwave to pull the rover apart." "Oh you thought your rover was fine, NO WE ARE ******* HERE TO PULL YOUR ROVER TO ******* SMITHEREENS!" And this is putting a LOT of stress on me, if this is a bug then how do I fix it, I'm just bloody fed up. However if it cannot be fixed, here are 2 SIMPLE improvements to stop this. 1) Cancel out all velocities on all ships, this prevents them from moving further into terrain and causing even more mayhem than the problem would usually. 2) Make all landed vehicles touching ground hover a meter above ground for the duration of the load, this way they dont touch and melt into the ground.
