granted. you now have a cake that locks every elementary particle from the smallest photon to the largest uranium isotope that it touches in place. This means that as the cake is pulled towards the earth the section of table it impacts locks in place relative to the universe and so relative to earth and you, the air and wood around the cake move sideways at 583 km per second relative to you, and bring along the table, a large section of your house, a LOT of air, a couple of buildings, cars, trees and planes that happened to exist at the wrong place, and you if you're not careful. soon the cake is at the core of the earth shooting off massive chunks of lava and crust, and soon there is no earth.
