Describe your "standard" Kerbin re-entry profile...
Dirkidirk replied to Hotel26's topic in KSP1 Discussion
1. no, but it very hard for me to build one that actually goes up when I want it to, and space shuttles replicas are very tedious to build and fly. 2. while I could It would be very hard for me to dock a spaceplane, unless the docking port is on the front. 3. no. I do build ssto spaceplanes to bring up small and medium sized payloads and to land on minmus, but for long, high delta-V missions, launching large payloads or flights to lumpy rocks, rockets and vertical landers are the wey. -

He/she lived, happy ending. Hanson kerman was reparing a hole in his personal spacecraft in bop orbit, which was part of the JOOL 5 Challenge, when another hole appeared, then another. He realised that the holes were caused by meteors, which hit his eva pack, causing a high pressured leak. The ship ended up having all of it's solar pannels destroyed, and hanson ended up 14 kilometers from the ship. The jool 5 mothership, or any of the other landers didn't have enough fuel to reach him. His body wasn't found until another expedition looking for the bop kraken found it. Lazard kerman - being lazy

[New] Space Launch System / Orion Discussion Thread
Dirkidirk replied to ZooNamedGames's topic in Science & Spaceflight
Have they even begun construction of the second stage? I doubt that the SLS will be That late. But I guess we'll just have to wait and see. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ not an expert, but It might be some combination of boeing wanting the money and not caring about the delays, congress not caring about the delays and only wanting the jobs, and/or nasa wanting it to be extra safe. and to think that it will all be thrown away after all of that time and money. If them companies actually did something and congress did the care then all of that spent would be doing something productive. -
5202: the room is pressurized, and filled with petitioners petitioning to make spaghetti bread and garlic bread their own breads.

After 8 Years, Lots of Math, and Extreme Dedication, Bradley Kerman launched his most impressive spacecraft yet. A 43.6 ton ssto to Murble and back, NO REFUELING, NO ISRU, NO GRAVITY ASSISTS, AND AT 15% THE SPEED OF LIGHT. Unfortunately, there was something he didn't consider when building his spacecraft, an intervention from AN UNSEEN BLACK HOLE. his spacecraft didn't have enough delta-V to correct his course, and he missed the sun's sphere of influence by 2 AU. 4869 years later some rescue ship found the spacecraft pocketed with holes lanny kerman - lanny kerman

49: fling an asteroid you “landed” on at a Jool you have “landed” on, then fling a Jool you have “landed” on at a star that you have "landed" on, then fling a star that you have "landed" on at a black hole that you have "landed" on.

Space race option for career mode
Dirkidirk replied to Ziin's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
yes that would be nice. might be something in ksp2. if it's not, then multiplayer and mods will make it a thing. -
two cases in fort myers, an hour from where I live, 18 over the state of florida. yet school still exists. In fact, I don't think florida is doing anything about the disease, probably because it's florida. Not sure if that's a bad thing yet. of course it is
