Use a dark KS3P/TUFX config. (I'll get photos and a config at noon.)

AVP is the most intensive and best looking cloud mod out there. (RSS is another thing but this is stock.)
There are many ways to improve fps. Provided you install manually.
Downloading EVE-redux will help with volumetric clouds. (The most intensive thing in atmosphere.)
Do not turn on the anti-aliasing settings. If you want AA then please use KS3P as there are much more options and it's generally better. (For 1440p AA is more of a legacy since moar pixels.)
Please don't use max settings. KSP is not optimized really. Disable reflection and things that won't effect the game much. Below is a list of the things you can turn down.

- Default: Fantastic (Helps a lot but be careful as sometimes mods need certain levels.)

Texture Quality
- Default: Half Res - (Doesn't matter for your case.)

Aerodynamic FX Quality
- Default: Normal - Depends (Low is best overall.)

Surface FX
- Default: On (Turn off if you want more fps.)

Underwater FX
- Default: On (Kinda useless.)

Pixel Light Count
- Default: 8 (Doesn't matter much.)

Shadow Cascades
- Default: 4 - Change to 0-2 (VERY HEAVY)
And if you want moar. Well. You can change scatterer settings and eve settings.

I'll get a proper work schedule and almost all visuals are done. The only thing is a AVP ks3p config I need to find then It's all done!

Most of the problems stem from me most of the time. As modding takes a bit and I'm working on all types of visuals in the KSP discord. Check pics under Arcodude.
Plus, learning the skills to do videos is quite frustrating. This project is still very alive. I have planes and ships taken care of and the other stuff is getting done now.
There is so many flags that I've made and I'll start writing lore today after I get done with visuals. (The reason I'm stopping that is because it's already great, and I don't want to spend all my time making configs, downloading mods, fixing issues, and making even more issues.)
Anyways, sorry for the rant. Overall, I'm doing fine and still working on it. I'll use all the craft I can get my dirty hands on.

2. Old AVP
3. SVE testing
4. Profit!

Holy, (BEEP) Eve redux, then this mod. How could it get better. Looks at RSS RVE 64k with eve redux and parallax. *wink, wink*

I am getting a Much higher fps. No joke a double 2x in fps.
29 to around 60 with all of my mods enabled and a few issues that happen here and there that are so minor that I won't even mention them.
This is a mod so great that I hate that theirs a bad word rule on this website.
{Tested with a few space craft and planes at 150~ parts each. And it can stand at 30ish fps with 500-800 parts on the runway at a time. }
Will get a bit of more info and tests soon and pics of it. (Set up is using 70% of cpu and gpu with a i5-7400 and gtx 1060 3gb.)

I've come back from the dead to download this mod. Will test it out with rss and stock.

Also another update because I'm posting.
I should start making Craft and stuff in about a week. My mouse is pretty much dead and I have a few issues with KSO itself and one thing I need to do.
Aka, 1. Fix the main menu where I can click on things. It doesn't let me click anything. 2. Make the cloud pack I'm using have other planets and not just Kerbin. 3. Finish up two craft I have. 4 Do something for a friend.
You can see everything I'm working on in the list at the bottom.

I deleted everything but the configs/textures for OPM. Deleted references in configs to where textures go for planets that spectra covers. But when It starts AVP somehow comes up on top and there is no clouds on Kerbin or anything that AVP still has stuff for and Spectra kinda just fades away. Since AVP has no textures its no clouds. So what is there that's messing stuff up? I'll get a log and pic soon™.

Two questions:
1. How would you Frankenstein AVP's OPM textures and keep spectra as everything else in 1.9.1?
2. How do you make the atmosphere fuzer?

I'm still here and I'm almost ready to film!!! I'm learning a bit more about my video editing software and I need to make the Craft but most of it is all done. Everything should be done and updated by the end of next month. This includes the info dump and new factions/flags. Most of the rules will not be changed.

EDIT: It's KS3P that darkens my rockets and ships.
Make sure render settings is above good and reflection is at low.

Those are for the map and when you are building. The first one (In the Settings above those two.) is the one that you are looking for. Unless the setting in scatter Disable Ambient Light is True.
(This is in the cfg/config file settings. You cant find it ingame to my knowledge.)

Hey can you provide something to fix the black horizon bug in RSS 1.9.1? (Yes I got Kopernicus to work in 1.9.1)
I applied the fix to all atmo planet configs in RSS and in scatter configs itself.

There's lots of procedural mods though. @Manwith Noname I suggest that you link the mod that TURD supports so people won't get confused on which one works and which one doesn't.

By removing scatterer, the bulk of my lag was removed. However, I've got a crappy laptop.
AVP is one the of worst for framerates.
SVE Is usually the best.
Spectra is even better.
