I know this is the framework and I have no idea how to work this. Can you give me some instructions on how to use the reflections and turn them on? I can't figure out how to install this mod and make everything shiny. (Sorry if this is a waste of time. I'm just clueless now. I have no idea how to do it. Sorry.) With restock and ks3p.

Look at the video above, it should tell you everything you need to know about fps.
Cant see it due to school blocker. Part counts don't matter. What ever I do doesn't change the fps and even the stock visuals go below 60 for no reason.

I've been using texture replacer and I want to use it for the suits but not for the ground. How would I disable it so it shows the stock 1.8.1 textures?

As far as I can tell, absolutely none on a gtx 1060. It uses the depth buffer to inject the caustics into the shadowmask (essentially a texture where the shadows are as they should look on your screen, all shaders then read the corresponding pixel on the shadowmask to check if they are in shadow or not, I just add the caustics there). The caustics are basically two layers of the same texture mixed with some different scales and speeds.
So no rendering meshes, no re-rendering objects, basically a few texture fetches so it's fast.
Fps? I cant get above 20-30 with AVP and scatterer at lowest settings. I5-7400, 16gb of ram and a GTX 1060 3gb.

Okay, @fulgur, @panzer1b. Were gonna stop with the player stuff so we can work. Plus, were not allowed to use the map. (Most maps are way too old with accounts that haven't used the forums for a long time. And their respective topics are too old or locked.) So, the only real option is to not do it. Unless we get permission.
Anyways. I've removed the maps and the player part. The best part is that we can work on the core part and you guys can work on making your Craft and Factions to be in there instead of playing around. You can still ask me to let you attack somebody or to buy a certain Craft. All of the bare-bone features.

Anybody willing to share their ships on this topic for a cinematic? Or giving them to a faction or joining it as a faction? Your ships look really nice btw.

I've got all my mods ready for 1.9.x but Scatterer and maybe EVE just need to update. Although, I don't care just yet. They have done a lot of work and you can't really expect someone to update something in 1- a week of a release.
But, I'm ready and this update looks good!. A nice reason to use the stock textures for the planets and use TextureReplacerReplaced for the suits and reflections. I had the same issue but I did change to the newest EVE and didn't change to 1.9.x after it. So, I don't know if I have the black sky. Darn it. Just when I got all my mods updated!

Yeah, as soon as all the mods update I'll do it. It takes a while anyways so we will have plenty of time. I'm still on 1.8.1 but lots of time.

Just to let you know that you have to edit your main post in order for me to add those updated and new ships. (Just so you want to do that.) I've got a lot of stuff done but I still have a lot to work on.
I got most of the stuff with davinci resolve 16 done but I'm not totally done. (I haven't been able to pump out stuff due to not getting enough computer time to experiment and write.
@fulgur Get over here and stop being lazy! I'm joking. Just make sure you have a couple more Craft to fight us and stuff. Also make sure to update your main post!!! The hovercraft doesn't count until you add it. Plus, I need the info on your faction. (You know. The form thing.)

Well, sorry. Can I ask now to use that map or do I have to use a different map for it. Sorry I forgot about that. I'm kinda new to the whole thing.

Also, I've changed to davnci resolve 16 so don't expect me to edit anymore until I get used to it. I still have to finish 3-hour long tutorials before I feel safe editing in it. I'm a little sick but I can continue working on the project.

I did close it but I got my problem solved. A wire was blocking the GPU fan! Yikes!

Yep, I have the dlc. On Monday I plan to come back. Thanks for redoing that ship. It looks amazing! I'm kind of sick too. Once I get back I'm going all out.

So I was doing stuff. I come back tomorrow to see it drop from 30 fps to 5-0 without any changes. WHYYY!?

Reinstall Scatterer. This happened to me and you gotta reinstall correctly, sometimes it does this. It worked for me.
