Starship is comprised of: Cargo/tanker/crew nose section main body 2 larger lower flaps 2 smaller upper flaps header tank for ontop the nose cone 3-6 Raptor Vacs depending which model you choose 3 Sea Lever Raptors Starship Heavy is comrised of: Control Core 4 Heavy Grid Fins (i had to flip mine upside down) Booster tank 28/29 or 33 engine cluster Start off with the Starship nose variant you want, i.e crew Starship nose
  4. Man i love this mod. Been playing this afternoon while putting a new station together in orbit. Janus's script is just amazing, brings SEP and SLE to life!

I'm having similar issues of starship flipping at seperation from SH and only throttling up to 1/3rd throttle so it will not make it to orbit I have noticed in your post your starship is running oxidiser and methane. is this right?The fuel switch toggles are there on the booster body to change from ksp's standard fuels to methane mix, but not on the starship body, is this how it should be? I usually use the methane mix before i tried this mod, so not sure if i should be using ksp's standard fuels with the script or methane mix. Thanks! I can't wait to get this mod working, you've created a masterpiece to finish off this Starship mod Edit: I have also noticed Starship Heavy pitches over slightly before seperation which being in atmo is what i think is making the starship flip right after seperation.
  6. Firstly, amazing mod. Such incredible detail! Could i add a request? A crew hatch on crew starship to allow eva's? I noticed the other day i couldn't eva any of my kerbals after landing on the mun and duna. i cannot state how awesome your model is, how detailed everything is! the last ring segments inner greebling, heatshield tiles, making the cargo bay more useful... i'm sure you've made many, many happy nerds!
  7. Okay, everyones thinking it so i'll be the one to ask... Starship moon lander? But in all seriousness, can't wait for you're take on it if you do one. I absolutely love you're mod, pretty much only flown starship for the last 50+ launches i've done. You've re-created it amazingly. Amazes me everytime how well the bellyflop re-entry works. I can't imagine that was fun to trial and error kudos!
  8. I was literally wanting to ask about this, but after my docking question i didnt want to seem pushy Full scale dragon + trunk comes out quite heavy using tweakscale (3.75m seems around the right size?). I'd be interested in this patch!
  9. The end to end docking does indeed work! Incredible! had to give them a little wiggle, as the target indicators didnt line up exactly, but was only minor. With some playing with the different parts "control from here" i'll get the hang. Love this mod even more now! Only suggestion is that on the Cargo variant, the "docking" control point i think is set to docking with a regular docking port on the Crewed variant. Since the cargo variant has no regular docking port, would be cool to see this reverse your normal orientation. Small gripes, this has become my most used mod! Currently building a fuel station on Duna with Cargo mk4 starships. So glad i found this mod! I've been using kk launchers pack for the most realistic falcon 9, but there was no starship Starship is now my most used launcher So fun to do the bellyflop manoeuvre!
  10. I shall have a try, there is a "control from here" on the bottom section, but mechjeb auto docking wants you to select a docking port. I shall try a manual docking, just a tad trick not having a target dock to target to help alignment lol i'll give it a go today
  11. I absolutely love you're mod! I've been playing with starship mk4 for the last few days and i'm having so much fun doing large cargo missions to the mun and Duna so far! can i ask is there a way to do starship to starship docking/refueling? The crew has the docking hatch, but the docking port is recessed slightly so 2 could not dock? And there's no visible docking port on the cargo version. Looking in the command groups, when the starship lower shroud is selected there are "decouple node" and "undock node" actions for it, have i just missed something? if so i'm sorry! lol Was curious if the cargo/crew can dock end to end like we've seen in spacex animations in the past? For now i've put docking ports and refueling ports on the topside of starship that see's little to no heat during re-entry. Again, thank you for all you're hard work on this mod, it's absolutely incredible!!!
