This is my mini Lego crawler crane. The reason it is so small is because it started out as a medium sized excavator (And I can switch it between crane and excavator in a minute or 2), and because I don't have bigger tracks. I am also working on a load chart for it, so I know how much I can lift in different configurations. The load chart is still a work in progress, and I just thought I might share this with you.
I used fishing wire as cable for the hoist and luffing winches, and the rear is hollow and filled with BBs as counterweight. The only problem is that if it falls over and breaks, I have a LOT of BBs to clean up. Sorry the photos are so bad, but I used the built in camera on the laptop I am on and not my iPod touch because I didn't have a cord with me to sync the files.

The things on the photo include the Kerbjet 45, Kiebherr KTM 1120-4.1, Kiebherr KTM 1300-6.1, Kiebherr KRT 1090-2.1, KerbalKran Industries GKR-978B, Perseverance rover, Kania R235 tractor-trailer, the KT50L Kerbal lift (Manlift, sometimes called a boom lift or cherrypicker), and that vehicle in the background to the right is my KerbaLift KFL 300E Forklift. It wasn't really supposed to be there.
