  1. I think this is the right thread for this question. Not spaceflight related, but sort-of science related. Theoretically, if an object with absolutely no water or moisture in it at all was placed into a microwave oven (and turned on, duh) it wouldn't heat up, right? I'm just making sure I understand how a microwave works.
  2. When you see a "Naväge" (that sinus clearer thing) commercial and realize they are saying the "ä" wrong.
  3. More ETS2 with ProMods, currently on a trip from Łódź to Thessaloniki carrying some eel. Just today, I started playing Tetris again (here) and damn it's addicting! I forgot how much fun it is, and how good a song Korobeiniki is. I haven't been playing KSP recently because I lost the charger to the laptop with KSP on it somewhere, probably in my family's car. I'm moving, so things are kind of everywhere, even more than before.
  4. When the most interesting part of PE class is seeing how the mechanism that raises and lowers the basketball hoops works.
  5. I don't even know where to start, my life recently hasn't been going great, and that's sort of an understatement. I do know, however, that the amount of times I have said "mierda" and "Scheiße" this week has increased at least 70% from last week. Yeah, not going great, pretty much all because we are being forced to move. At least I am staying in the same town and school district...once my parents find a home.
  6. Sorry to necropost, but how do Finns make their coffee?
  7. Back in my day, we had quadjets.
  8. When you see a cloud and think "hmm...that looks like The Philippines"
  9. I recently sort of made a friend at school who's dad is an engineer for Pratt & Whitney.
  10. We will only know in 10 years. ¿Donde está la biblioteca?
  11. Granted. Your beryllium carbide hohlraum is now in a dihydrogen monoxide weltraumbaum. I wish I could have the aforementioned crane.
  12. Planes are better than rockets. Yes, that may be true, but they look cool. I rest my case.
  13. I remember my first time, which was probably 4, almost 5 years ago now. I built a huge rocket! I'm going to try to get into orbit of Kerbin! 10 minutes later: Why am I orbiting the sun!?
  14. Still lots of FSX. I might consider getting MSFS if any of the many computers we have at my house were even close to meeting any of the minimum requirements, and if my internet download speed was faster than 0.53 kbps (I just did a speedtest and that's what it said, sometimes it is faster than that).
  15. Nice crane! Not bad realism-wise either, especially trying to design it so the crane can actually lift stuff, although I use KAS for winches/cables instead of just using cylinders, but the winches don't lift stuff as well. If you would like, you can put the challenge badge in your signature! How did you get all those extra KSC facilities? Is it Kerbal Konstructs, because I have never gotten it to work on 1.12.3.
  16. Of course, I picked the perfect time to be interested in Russian songs and culture, with everything that's happening in the world now (you know). It's a good song, though, seriously. It's been stuck in my head for days! I'm not complaining though. I like it a lot! That's why it's stuck there.
  17. When you procrastinate doing homework by reading Wikipedia pages. When Katyusha is your studying music. When you almost cry when thinking about the Concorde's retirement. When you wouldn't be offended if somebody called you a nerd. When you attempt to read aloud any Cyrillic you see almost entirely from what you learned reading Russian road signs in ETS2, and really aren't that bad at it. Same here, I don't care what the hell is "trending", I'll just stay over here listening to my Russian and Finnish folk songs loving planes and cranes, wearing whatever I'm interested in wearing, not what the coolest celebrity this month is.
  18. The 747 is old, its time has come. I'm not serious, It's so sad it's being retired by some airlines.
