  1. Probes having failure rates? I'd imagine that the failures, instead of completely taking the probe out of action, only disabling the part. Something like "The reaction wheel isn't working perfectly, wait, who put gum in there? " this would mean that the reaction wheel inside the probe (if there is one) stops working, and all others on the craft are cut in effectiveness by 50%. This could be fixed by a kerbal ( all systems would be restored) or by a module on the craft that doesn't perfectly restore the broken module, but can do a thing. The advantage of having a pilot is that, they don't break down ( usually).
  2. Hmm, I've found this material called diamond nanothreads. Obviously, this material probably will fail for the reasons stated above, and that no one knows how to produce this material in large enough lengths (yet), but it seems promising. Could this material work?
  3. Huh, I posted before the notification came, so your guess is correct. @Master39
  4. Your guess was incorrect, as I have posted instead. @probe137
  5. planets that you can't land on for a long time, because of heat or other things.
  6. Thanks for the help @SkyRender ! I'll make sure to keep that in mind when designing my next craft to the mun.
  7. I actually have never successfully landed on the mun. I have tried 7 times, 5 times I have gotten to the surface, and tipped over or used too much fuel.
  8. Granted. Now everyone remembers, just doesn't do it. I wish for a better clock.
  9. Maybe... what if this relation develops over multiple flights, like : stage 1. Rivals ( can stop here ) 2. Enemies. 3. REALLY hate each other 4. Mortal enemy.
  10. Seems like a cool idea... Maybe if that kerbal was the only one to escape, it would react sadder, maybe even relations, so the kerbal would react differently when that kerbal died.
