What do meteorologists think when they're asked about the weather?

Last year, I'd often make egregious mistakes in orchestra like missing notes by half-tones, even full tones. When this happened, I often pondered just airbowing and not playing at all, since my net contribution to the orchestra was plausibly negative. Today, during my orchestra rehearsal, I realized that I've hardly made such embarrassing mistakes this year, and that my contribution is positive since I've been much more dedicatedly practicing. I'm glad I'm improving.

Someone should make a news outlet with stories representative of the real world, stories like "Study Shows Literally Nobody Is Out to Get You", "SHOCKING FACT: Most People Found to Be Decent", etc

Remember those 1 or 2 months when you couldn't say "crazy" without someone else replying "I was crazy once, they locked me in a room..."? Weird how that happened and just stopped.

I'm trying to learn Haydn's cello concerto in C, but impatience and frustration is getting to me. It feels like there's an indefinite amount of slow practice I have to do over and over again, and that I'll never be able to actually play the piece. I wanna play the piece, dangit!! So, I end up rushing through it just to "play" it, then I miss all the notes, and get frustrated. This very delayed gratification is a good thing to learn, especially in this internet/instant gratification era, but man is it hard. I also don't know what to think while practicing. Often I'm just practicing, and some random thought comes through and I screw up. UGH!
