  1. Honestly I think they will try to launch it a second time as a proof of concept. If they can reuse it within a week, they will have sorta proved the whole schtick of SS
  2. So what do y’all think will happen with 15? Will they try again? If so, how long will inspection and possible refurb/replacement of the engines take? Or will it hit the scrap heap?
  3. Also F9 uses an additional burn to slow down. Which doesn’t help this or the “complexity” argument. What?
  4. Did you not see the SN11 flight? it was foggy and wet. Plus, its not going to land on a barge. its more than likely going to try and RTLS landing.
  5. They may look different, but the main idea of a propulsive landing is similar for all cases.
  6. Theres so much about the reentry and more importantly the bellyflop which is.... sus. I wonder how bad the total G's are. smh DearMoon is planned for 2023.
  7. I think they mean for test flights. Humans won't fly (IMO) on Starship for at least 5 years after its first orbital flight.
  8. Well, you'd need it to learn how to climb up all those ladders
  9. No. The payments were suspended for the time being. They know what they bought, and last I checked it’s more developed and tested than either of the other option. It’s not *just* meant to go to Mars. Also, a SPECIALIZED variant is being used for lunar landing. Your argument doesn’t make sense.
  10. To be fair it was actually @Apelsin who figured it out.
  11. I found a YouTube video you might find interesting. Search “top gear car battleship” they use cranes and drop small cars onto big cars. There are explosions. 10/10 content.
  12. Maybe look. It was literally at the top of the pag.
